I've grown cucumbers successfully for years with home made nettle fertilizer. I've heard of feeding with warm milk, citric acid and now yeast!

What is a quart? We dont have that measurement in Australia.

A quart is two pints. This guy obviously doesn't know what a quart is, as that bucket wouldn't hold 10 quarts!!

Can we use yeast for another plant

Maybe I need to use fresh yeast. I tried it with dry yeast and can’t see any difference at all in my plants.

Unfortunately here in Southern Oregon, no one sells fresh yeast any more. We can only buy dry yeast. I'd love to know how to use a packet of dry yeast for your method. Like many home gardeners I only have a couple of cucumber plants. Even counting all my pepper, squash and melon plants, maybe I only have a dozen or a dozen and a half at most, plants for this top dressing, so I wouldn't need such a large amount of the finished yeast liquid.

I tell you further in the video how to prepare a small amount of this top dressing, look, and I will leave a link to the video with the use of dry yeast in the description and fix it in the comments.

Where do you buy compressed fresh yeast? Can just regular yeast be used that is typically for baking?

Nettle fertilizer deters the slugs, with a number of prickly leaves surrounding your plants.

I’m thinking about mosquitoes because I already have too many of them. Yeast is an active ingredient in the bait used to attract and trap mosquitoes. I wonder if we could simply add the powdered yeast into the hole before planting? That is how mycorrhizal fungi powder is applied.

On zucchini, you do not need to cut the leaves, they are needed to feed the crop.
