Hi Noel, great video. I have a problem with my running line. I got caught in a snag this morning and I couldn't get out far enough to reach the head by line so I had no choice but to pull on the running line and unfortunately the running line broke and not my tippet. Can I use the same method with the shrink tube and heat gun to put a new loop on the running line or is that only suitable for thicker fly lines?
@@noelfitzmaurice2620 thanks Noel. I managed to get the line back this morning with a small anchor and rope. It was a brand new line and leaving it trailing in the river was worrying me. I just done a perfection loop and attached the Fly line loop to loop but I'm not happy with the knot from the perfection loop incase it catches in the top eye when landing a fish. I need to pick up some heat shrink tubes and I'll give your method a go. It looks perfect. Thanks again Noel.
Hi Pubz , sweet to get it back , well done, if you want some I can post you on a piece. rookie1979@live.co.uk is my email if you send me your address, I'll post it in the post asap. Thanks Noel.
Hi John , the nail knot is also a great option ,takes a little practice to get right but once mastered won't let you down, thanks for your support Noel.
Fantastic Noel, take care and tight lines!
Thanks Chris, hope you and Debbie are looking after yourselves.
Brilliant Noel. quick and simple fixes
Thanks Damien, mind yourself.
