Most expensive, that'll be the Ani version of this. I had the choice of a new standard one of these or a used MM-270 from japan. I prefer as it's what Kirk intended ie reverse Jackson headstock. I also prefer the skull and crossbones the other way round. Have a guy calls me every six months to a year to see if I want to sell for £6k.
These things invariably end up on the used market in a year or two when the original buyer realises that there's too much cash tied up in it and he / she still doesn't play like whoever's name is on the headstock (or the tribute band they play for moves on to Foo Fighters / RHCP / Taylor Swift). If you must have one then I'd wait...
Well we have to remember that in such examples you are not paying for the instrument itself. You are paying for the time, effort and manpower it takes to recreate the looks of the original. The guitar will play, sound and feel like every other japanese made neckthrough alder/maple horizon with emgs. This is a 2000$ guitar with a 4000$ cosmetic makeover. i mean it's not a bad guitar, you are just not paying for it's performance or material attributes.
Take it another step deeper, and realize you paying all that extra money for...the thoughts in your own head. The illusion you are playing his actual guitar. Which of course you are not. But, there are entire industries based upon humans spending ludicrous amounts of money for fantasies....

I'm not into relic guitars. Now I would take it brand new without the stickers and dings. I like wearing my own guitars out. Thats just me though.
