My copy...third edition blue... came yesterday! It is my very first premium Bible.. This is my first Prdmium Bible.. It does have raised ribs.. I’m s little afraid to mark up and use my gel highlighters on this Biuble, but I’ll have to, because I alwAys mark My Bibkes..unless it is a family heirloom. Oh .. Thd yap is a little wider thsn thd brown one is..
Thanks for this review. I got a good deal on the single-column. I like it. Still like my Schuyler better, but I like how much effort Thomas Nelson is putting into these.
Wow... I am loving these Premier Bibles by Thomas Nelson. I wish they were red letter. I am wondering if a Bible like this would be easier to get used to being Black Letter with the size of the of the print being larger than my two CBP Bibles that I recently bought, and really do not care for them. The price of these Bibles are amazing. I really like the NIV in these Premier Bibles. Thank you for another great review.
I just added a link to the brown 2nd generation of this bible, which is a huge improvement. I couldn't find the black. ALSO, they just happen to be on a HUGE sale right now as well!
Good review… I would like to see the angle of the Yapp or semi yapp more on some of these videos. By the way guys, the regular NIV heritage premier series is a pretty thin book itself and easily portable to church if you want to keep that concordance 👍
What are the dimensions, height, width, thickness? I don’t trust the Amazon dimensions listed, they tend to blanket the dimensions from one style over the whole group.
Has anyone seen the non-premium edition of the NKJV thinline large print? I'm wondering if that one has lower quality paper with lots-o-ghosting, or the same apparently excellent paper as this baby. Thanks in advance!
I just ordered this Bible from Amazon yesterday, and after watching your review I cannot wait for it to arrive. I like to highlight, underline and write notes when I read the Bible. Do you think this will be an issue with the paper in this Bible?
I’m really torn between this and the Schuyler Quentel calf skin for $110. The new Quentel has 28 gsm paper. This has 36 gsm. Any thoughts on which I should choose???
I would purchase this. The Premier Collection NKJV is edge lined with leather liner and more portable. Readability is about the same while the font size is not much smaller than the Quentel.
I am probably going to make an instructional video for "how to review" which would include networking with publishers. It's coming. Probably gonna be a video a make to celebrate hitting 1,500 subscribers or it might be my 400th video uploaded, whichever comes first. Right now I have 396 videos uploaded to my channel and I am at 1,471 subscribers so I'm not sure which will come first.
Hey Jerry! I unfortunately do not have a Humble Lamb bible to compare it to but I am fairly sure that the paper is denser and there is less ghosting in the Premier Collection editions due to them all having the 36 gsm paper.
@@douglasj2254 From Amazon when they had them on sale a few months ago. I'd say they're still easily worth $100. They're very nice! In about a month they're coming out with a brown version with spine ribs for $125.
Beau, I know you have got a lot of your bibles in trades I was wondering if theres a forum or something you do that on or just word of mouth. I have a bible I want to trade but dont know how to go about trading it.
All of my trades happen on Facebook... In the group named "EVERYTHING BIBLES!!!" I help admin in that group. Just request to join and answer the 3 questions.
At the moment you hit 2 Chronicles and said close you had already went 6 books too far. 😂 Love it brother. So you think it’d be a fair trade for heirloom Thinline brand new? Someone want to give me the single column for a brand new not opened heirloom. 🤦🏼♂️
God bless you thank you
May the Lord bless you and use you mighty in Jesus name amen
I have one coming in the mail. Can’t wait to get it! I am thankful it’s black font w no red letter! Thanks for review
Wish you could have found the book of Ruth in the Thomas Nelson for a more direct comparison.
I love it awesome Bible

I like that one ribbon is a different color. Beautiful looking Bible! I’ve got to get a slimline!

Dos it have over cast stiching ????
I’m ordering one for my husband’s birthday. I hope the font is large enough for him!
Get yourself an Amazon affiliate account. I would love to be able to click through that link to purchase.

That does look like a Quintel... I agree on the price, its a very good price for such a great reader.

How is it 2 months later?
@@fishersofmen4727 It is still in good shape and I have no issues with bleed through with the highlighter or pens I use.
The one person who disliked this was RL Allan! 🤣
Good one. ;)

Does this Bible have a reading plan?
How do you become a reviewer, as far as receiving the Bibles to blog about? It's something I have wanted to do with special content Bibles.

I got my for $ 103.99 at Mardel with a 30% off coupon
Did you seriously not know how to find the book of Ruth, so you gave up and just stopped wherever you were?
Does this thinline have full translator's notes with full references?
Got mine for $76.51 shipped!
From whence? Pray tell.

The heirloom is worth more $, probably $20-$40 more
Prime deal right now has it for $64
love the thinness of this, have you had a chance to look at or review Key word NKJV, any recommendation on which one? or would both be good :)
