I got lucky during a sale and managed to pick this up for only $60, such a premium bible for a great price. Haven't seen anything of this level of craftsmanship for such a deal.
Maybe you could answer a question for me I don't understand why Bibles of this caliber are always black text. I like red text Bibles it makes things a little bit easier to understand but there are seldom Bibles of this caliber in red text and that honestly is what stops me from buying them

If you pause the video and zoom in at various times between 6:16 and 6:49, you’ll see the copyright detail includes the copyright from 2011, which as I type this in January 2025, is the latest version of the NIV translation. Any new NIV Bible will be the 2011 NIV translation. You’d have to shop the used market to find the 1984 translation, which was the last revision to not use gender-inclusive language.
Can you please provide the dimensions? Some retailers say 11 by 6 and I'm assuming that's impossible! And does the better paper solve the ghosting issues in the "regular" NIV large print thinline? Thank you sir!

The BOX NOW SAYS 11 POINT FONT... PROBABLY 10.5 BUT VERY GOOD BOLD DARK READABLE PRINT. BEST NIV I HAVE OR HAVE SEEN....EVER.

The (N I V Bible) Leaves out Over 5,000 Words and is not a good Bible to read!

The dimensions are closer to 9"X6" at 1" thick and yes, this 36 gsm paper has very little ghosting whatsoever

You’re probably not looking at the large print version, as it’s $109. The one you probably looked at is currently $84.
If you ever want to give that away to a poor bum, I will gladly take it :) haha.
