My only concern would be the double sided tape being strong enough for long enough. Another possibility is using industrial strength velcro, or the high quality adhesive mounting strips deigned for automotive use.
@@WheelieMacBin a year on it's still going strong. On my A7 the double sided tape lasted 2 and a half years before I ripped it off myself to put on the Spider
