Thank you for addressing the Oakland issue! I was fuming reading those tweets at that time form people who have no idea that the venue was actually in one of the nicer parts of Oakland! Some streets may have looked ghetto but it’s literally the remnants of old Oakland. Everything there is gentrified now just like in SF. It was definitely annoying as a native of the Bay Area to hear that people felt unsafe when there was literally no immediate danger. You know what was the most dangerous thing?? Someone pulled the fire alarm at 4am!!
