Ice Climber's taunt is so bad that Chudat had to make his own.
Mario's taunt also works on a freeza level where after he takes your stock he just shows you he isnt even using his final form to beat you
They definitely ran out of time with everything Zelda. I imagine 2000s Nintendo probably had some fun trying to figure out how to code an entirely separate secret character inside of another character and just said fuck it when done

I think that Bowser's taunt is incredibly context dependent. After an opponent's SD, it's dogshit and not really disrespectful, but after a juicy F-Smash, it's incredibly hype.
Bruh, the ICs can friggin desync their taunts, cross their hammers, face away, attack while taunting. Can’t believe this.
My brother plays Zelda and likes to taunt, and sometimes it takes me a bit to realize that he taunted and it wasn't just an idle animation

Marth is disrespectful tier. My friend's d-pad is broken and whenever he bodies me he says "Minna, miteite kure" in real life, it's so BM. It doesn't stop being BM just because it's in japanese, it's equivalent to "show me your moves" or "c'maaaahn"

Ness taunt is only S tier in reply to fox or falcon taunt or other vocal taunts that imply something. A good counterpick u might say

One of my favorite things to do as a kid in melee and brawl was to play giant melee, pick Mario, give him a mushroom, and taunt and have Mario take up the entire stage
I'm so happy about this list, I've held these feelings near and dear to my heart for most of my life.
