The story of this song is amazing. I don't usually comment to reactions but I felt the need to do it here. After his first album, he became famous, famous enough to live a luxurious life. But he likes keeping things cool, he continued to live a normal life: no fancy house, no luxurious car. After his first album, he didn't appear in public a lot. So there were rumors that he is having a bad time, he doesn't know what to sing, a burnout, it was just a one-time performance. For him, it was sad to see people who 'supported' him started to gossip. Human being behavior. One day, he was caught by a male fan in a car park. Stromae was in his car eating a burger. Have you seen a "Kia Pincanto" before? Now imagine in 2021, you drive a 2008 Picanto. That's the type of car Stromae was driving. The fan was dumbfounded to see a famous and rich star driving such a car. He started insulting and laughing at Stromae and taking videos. He finally published it on social media and it went viral. That's it. For people, Stromae's era just ended before starting. They seriously laughed at him on social media. But what they didn't know was he was already working on his new album. When they were thinking about the video for formidable, they thought that it will be very good to make people believe more what they currently think about him. So they put hidden cameras and put alcohol on his clothes for people to smell it and think he is drunk. Most of the people in the video recorded that and again put it on social media. Stromae, the famous artist is now singing on the streets, completely drunk? It was a disaster. Again, they criticized him. Finally, the first time he sang Formidable, it was on TV during a show. Again, he behaved as if he was drunk. At the end of the show, people criticized stromae and the show on social media. How can a serious show allow him to sing. But they later discovered that a new album was coming out. Today, I love this song and can't stop listening to it.
