Great video! I have been trying to form a good pocket on my glove I can close it pretty easily but baseballs just bounce right out when I play catch Any tips ? Thanks

Condition the glove with Wilson conditioner or Maven conditioner. Stay away from oil and Nokona! Also keep pounding the pocket after you condition the glove.

emu spit does the job pretty well from what I've seen. another good one is the conditioner from ballplayer's balm

To soften the leather, some people really like the hot water method. I personally think it’s a little risky with color runs, but it’ll definitely make the glove more moldable. It’s one of those things where manufacturers don’t recommend it, but they do it on MLB gloves.
