  • To replace a very hard to get and extremely expensive king bearing (they costs around 400 eur per piece and supply is virtually non existant) we can use a pair of DG4070 bearings and do a little speedo sensor/instrument cluster hack described in this video.

Wow Zok.... thanks for sharing this. I already went the DG4070 route and made an attempt at casting a silicone contact seal on the fibre cage. All good so far after 6,000 miles. This solution as way better than making a 64 pole ring to fit inside the rear disc (like I did).

Brilliant!! That is a master solution. Great to not have to deal with the king beatings ever again. Thank you for posting the info and you are a certified genius bro!

How you'd know the exact address to change the value from? And I mean the exact Address, you can read Assembler and Hexcode?

I've seen some mapping and continued some reverse engineering... More about it here: www.apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?366839-Dashboard-EEPROM-content

I like the ABS Project very much. I had the exact same idea 5 years ago, but lacked the money, and after 3 more seasons have sold the bike. It is good that someone had made it and gave it as a knowledge to the others.

Thank You for all this information.
Maybe You know is it possible to program EEPROM with CH341 programmer? T48 is bit pricey for one time job=]

Hello! I have taken a look of CH341 compatibility list ans I can find 24C02 chips but not 24U02 - but they're kinda compatible - as seen in the video I have also chosen 24C02 to program 24U02 and it worked flawlessly..
