    Jennifer, I love this simple ink layering technique that results in such WOW effects! Each card is gorgeous. I can’t make up my mind which is my favorite! Oddly, I think I’d start out which the ornate framed leaves. I love clean and simple, yet stunning cards for all occasions. I think this would be perfect for making batches of all occasions cards for my stash or stacks of multiples for gift giving. Thank you so much. Feeling super inspired! TFS! 🌈 Ali K.

    Flamingos were all the fun rage a few years back. We bought 12-15 large plastic yard flamingos at outside garden stores and put them in our friends yards. (They were big maybe 3 feet tall. )They retaliated by putting them in crazy places in our yard… front window flower boxes, etc. such fun. It caught on in our area often you would drive by a house and see they got “ flamingoed” ! Our neighbor took an old white sheet and colored a flamingo the size of our garage door so when we got home there it was! What a hoot! So we love Florida flamingoes though we live in cold Michigan! So yes I’m getting some of the hero arts release of flamingos stamps and dies. Who knows who will get the cards I make from them! Thanks for the very creative ideas for the background too. I’ve so enjoyed all your projects!!!

    Love to see your creativity even with something as simple as a rectangular *nothing* stamp piece!! ❤️👏🏻❤️ I was talking with a friend on Thursday and declared that for you, it's not even a case where you think outside the box ... there simply is no box! Love watching you create your magic! I also love the tip about using the packaging to place layered stamps and will give that a try because layering stamps and I are so not friends. 🫤 Thank you for taking the time to explain about Hero Arts' inks qualities, I appreciate that information so much! Hope you and family have a great weekend and puppy is getting back to health and activity! ❤️

I know I’m asking a lot but I really want to get the best:) Thank you for taking the time to answer:) tfs stay safe and God Bless:)

  • @artsy_again
    @artsy_again 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Would we need to separate blending tools for dye vs hybrid ink pads within this collection (right now I have one set dedicated to dye inks and another to distress oxides which I understand are also a hybrid ink) or can we use our dye ink blending tools for all of them?

    • @jennifermcguireink
      @jennifermcguireink  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would use the same brushes for hybrid and dye. Oxides and pigments I do separately. Truth is that if you wash them really well after each use you can use brush for anything but it is more convenient if you can go have a set to use for each.

    I have never understood the difference between "shadow" inks and "midtone" inks from Hero Arts. And what does "core" ink mean-their standard line of colors? It has kept me from purchasing them.

    • @jennifermcguireink
      @jennifermcguireink  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Libby Hickson from Hero arts shared that: Mid-tone shadow inks is what Hero Arts used to call their dye inks. The also had Bold Inks which were hybrid inks.
      Now there is just one combined line called Core inks, condensed down to a tighter color collection. Some are dye, some are hybrid. The difference between those types are small, stampers are typically more interested in the color. But the ink pads say core ink on the lid and on the back it says whether it is dye or hybrid for those who care. Also listed on website.
      A lot of colors are same as they’ve always been, just updated to core ink packaging.
      Recommend you read this post & send confused stampers there as well:
      heroarts.com/blogs/hero-arts-blog/color-hop
      There’s a chart linked there as well that is a key to know if a core ink was previously under a different name.
