So funny I made a card which combines all the techniques of your last three videos. So the background is an all word stamps about graduation and celebration. On it is a big YOU but in Dutch so "JIJ". And that is coloured with metallic powder and has been through the embossing machine in a polkadot embossing folder. Thanks for another brilliant Video!

Cool techniques! I have to admit I prefer the dots to the plaid, as the plaid is visually confusing to me on the finished card. Still, there are plenty of stencil choices and repeating stamp backgrounds to choose from.
I LOVE this look. In my minds eye, it resembles the look of paper piecing using patterned cardstock. With that in mind, I'm anxious to try your look plus see what other styles of cards I can make building on your idea! As always, you made beautiful cards. Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. Another great technique video, Jennifer! OMG, that keyhole/numbering system in the flower dies is brilliant!! I noticed your Brutus Monroe mat slid around when you were inking up the stencil. If you put a piece of your Tim Holtz grip mat under the Brutus Monroe sticky mat, it doesn't slide around at all. Heh, heh, I think I got this tip from you! : )))

Hi Jennifer, beautiful and inspiring as always. When stenciling, do you prefer the sticky mat or the waffle flower stencil mat? Which one do you recommend?
sorry to say this but i really like both. i use them for different things. i use the sticky mat for a lot for other things. but for just stencils... a universal tool is the stencil mat

I thought I posted a comment a few days ago but I don't see it, so I will try again. I love all your videos and i wondered if you could tell me the shade or shades of the Altenew dye inks on the blue Build-a-Garden card you made. I have quite a few ink pads but nothing like these colors.
I used the blues from the Lapis Lazuli set. Got to Altenew.com and look at the mini ink cube sets to see the colors. They come in regular size too but that's the easiest way to see the bundle of colors
I combine ALL of my products - I chose to NOT be a Demonstrator for a company that, 1st- insisted ONLY their product be used in any video. And 2nd- if I'm a Demonstrator, I can't sell Anything card/stamp related, Even in my name on my shop... Great video! I don't believe I know any artist that uses ONE Company Exclusively...

Fantastic video. When you get ink on your sticky mat from stenciling, can you clean it or does that remove the sticky?
You can wipe it with. damp cloth and let it dry. Brutus Monroe also sells a cleaning spray.

hmmmm... i don't use just one company. and i mix a lot. none of the companies i use have demonstrators.
Does there seem to be any difference between the Altenew tape and the Spellbinders tape?
