i felt everything you mentioned lol. imma escape the cold this year to spend my xmas and new year with my family in thailand XD. i will make sure i to eat a lot while i’m there and this reverse culture shock will hit me like a brick again 555. i also noticed that my thai is getting worse .. how am i gonna communicate with my family now lol. last time i already had a lot of trouble trying to communicate and even had to use google translate to help me 555 😅 well at least i can read thai a bit better. i think i will force my family to teach me to cook thai food cuz i suck at cooking
, but still want home cooked thai meals at home here in the netherlands

Ah that's a good shout to go when it is cold in the Netherlands! 55555 I'm sure once you get back to Thailand your Thai will improve quickly again, it's a bit like riding a bike. Also if you get your family to teach you how to cook Thai food, you can save money when you go back home 555

@@VictoriaReign i dont know if i will be able to improve my thai, since we usually don’t use the local thai language lol. i’m from yasothon and my aunt lives in ubon and my dad if from the north.. so basically none of us are from bangkok. also not all that sure about saving money since those ingredients are expensive over here lol…but most likely will be cheaper than takeouts since you can make more than what you get from takeouts.
maybe someday i will be able to get a nice place with a garden, so that i can grow my own stuff

England has gone to the dogs. Too many immigrants coming here for starters and nothing is being done about it. As for the prices, pretty much everything has shot up in price, particularly food. In the last couple of weeks I've been seriously considering relocating to Thailand later this year. Having been there three times I have a pretty good understanding of life in Thailand.

The prices in Thailand versus America STILL bug me. It's been four years! I hate paying so damned much here. And in America everything requires a working vehicle. I am paying through the nose for insurance and any kind of driving is super expensive.

Driving in the UK is becoming similar, it is so expensive and there are a lot of new rules around driving in London that is forcing people to stop. The price difference is insane!
