- On this overnight winter adventure, we encountered a lot more challenges than we expected out of a "simple" weekend trail recce. This is a great example why being prepared to tackle anything is critical to success.
Why Brass Monkey? Ever hear the saying, "it's cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey"? Yeah me neither until this trip lol.

lol nope, they did not! We met at 0830 but didn't start the trail until noon! All before even hitting the trailhead lol

Is that tool roll a product you made? I am re-working my tool storage and it looks near perfect.
Duncan Neish thank you. No we haven’t made a tool roll yet, these ones are the Atlas 46 tool rolls. They are great, but there is room for improvement so we are planning to eventually make our own. Until then I can highly recommend these guys! Solid.
