Beautiful tent. Glad the weather cooperated for your weekend trip. Can't wait to see it in person.
I swear that you reminded of my two sons growing up at Christmas time. Opening packages and all the excitement. Great stuff! Take care and can't wait for an adventure in the outback.
😄
I did a crapload of upgrades on my 20 Y/O Tundra this past winter. A full suspension rebuild with a 3 1/2" lift. New rims/33" tires. A power station and a 50 Qt fridge, just wrapping that up. Still need to do an awning. I really don't want to buy a new vehicle these days.
Glad to see you got a new awning….no more paracord to tie up the old one 🤭
Yes I can't wait! Finally I'll be able to use it much more often!
👍👍😁
A shame only available in CA. Good job mate
Love it brotha..!
Your new tent looks cool! What does it weigh? Just asking. My new GFC camper for my truck with the popup tent weighs less than 300 lbs. Half that or less?
A stock 4" sleeping pad. My camper came with a 2" pad. Pulled that out and put a Hest 4" Sleeping system into it.
This tent weighs 145lbs. According to the website the GFC is 137lbs. So not a big difference. But a 4” mattress is nice! The Skyetent comes with a 2.75”. To be truly comfortable I have to add an extra pad to it.
Why all the tyres pressure are low ? To protect against car thieves ??
I had to release the air to get into the garage. Initially I was going to inflate the tires again once I was inside, but after airing up 1 tire, I decided to just leave them low and just put the Jeep in Jack stands instead. This would also take off pressure off the tires and avoid flat spots, especially during cold storage. So to get out of the garage I had to go flat again.
🍺👍
