The quality of the video is superb for 1995!
Remastered I'm sure. the OG clips aren't HD like this
I was just thinking how tf is the video quality so high in 1995
That's Vevo for you.
This was before shitty cellphone videos lol
95 is superp
Just the fact Layne is there makes this majestic...
This and everything that has ever happened in the history of the world is underrated.
This just rocks beginning to end. Guitar shredding at its purest
There will always be a special place for this entire album , love this track especially
just one of the best songs ever made for bikers, rockers, metals, gamers, traders, cycles, drunkeds, crackeds, lovers, masturbaters, singers, guitarrists, drumers,,, good stuff
Dont forget real man with mtf-in love in heart
Roger that! 10 - 4
biker, rocker, metalr, cycler, lover, masturbater, singer and guitarrist here LOL
good thing it wasn't the best song ever made for spellers!
you mean drunkards
Layne really was talented he's letting the guitar feed back and it sounds cool with Mike's strat.
How long would you like to play with feedback...
McCreedy: YES
I have never seen this video before of November Hotel. One of my favorite instrumental song
The most amazing and maddest song I've heard for the first time in 2019! 👍
at least you heard it before dyin' :) Enjoy!
This whole concert is crazy
Better ever than never, enjoy!! My favorite song on the album!
Purple Box awesome right?
Crazy good
I just love how crazy Mike and Barrett are on this stage
Mike Mc"F'n"cready Ladies and Gentlemen.
I was a roadie in Seattle exactly the same time and somehow missed this show wtf
One of the greatest jams ever!!!!!
Stood in line for hours, lady in line in front of me got the last tickets!!! Man I missed out! 😭
🖤 M A D R E S P E C T 🖤
Right back at ya! ;)
MAD SEASON U MEAN
Watching this juggernaut build steam is mesmerizing.
1:49 Baker: _This might be the coolest gig I've ever played..._
2:13 Layne: (hyperfocused)
2:40 Mike: (starting to feel it)
2:50 Layne: _Next chord... next... hmm, is this pedal plugged in?_
3:24 Mike: (guitar in driver seat now, wheeeee)
3:43 Layne: (hyperfocused again)
4:00 Barrett: _Fuck yeah, dig this groove_
4:01 Mike: (prepare to launch... aaaaaaaaaaaand off he goes)
5:32 Skerik: _I love these guys!_
6:49 Baker: _Definitely the best thing I've ever done_
I did not know that I needed to see Mike McCready murder an amp so enthusiastically and poetically, until I had. This never feels like 13 minutes; it's always over too soon. Every person on that stage is fucking going for it full throttle and it's epic. So glad this video exists; what a singular experience this was.
I been listening to this song for like 11 years and i just found out in 2023 that it has that epic video!
It just happened to me, and this brings a whole new perspective
You know you're a great when you can just jam out and we all love it
Imagine being in a motel in November of 95. Called the here on inn. This cd is was and 4ever will be a part of my soul. Demri. Love and miss u. Thanks 4 that crazy nite many moons ago....muah. Layne rip. Rest easy friend
Pics or it didn't happen lol. Jk, if you did know them then that's pretty fucking cool, would love to hear about it.
That stands up against any 70s jam session by the greats
The scream that the strat makes at 6:12 is fuckin' insane
You gotta love the way he beats those drums 😎😎😎
every year is a mad season
Every single one of them ATE THAT!! Not a crumb left in sight
As a teen in the 90's, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to appreciate many more newer musicians. I mean seriously, what could future generations have to offer that could be better than the infamous list that made it to the legendary "HEADBANGERS BALL".
well as much I agree, the 90s were an exeptional era, there are so many unknown but gifted bands around the world right now. Just dive into bandcamp and dig. Here is one of my fav little gems th-cam.com/video/FEMO1N6BGbk/w-d-xo.html (edit: they also have melodies sometimes ;-) )
How could anyone dislike any of this album?! Ming-blowing 🤯
Mike! Awesome! Just That.... Holy shit This Song!
Listen the bass line as well.....Hats off!
I'm 62; I was on a fishing boat in AK in 1995 when I first heard Mad Season, I used to sleep in my bunk with my cd walkman blasting in my ears, just to sleep. I will never get tired of this!!!
Thanks to whoever is recently dropping these! Layne in Mad Season is the best ✨ his voice was the focal point, he got to rock on the guitar took, I think he was in his element & happy as fuck. Thanks to Mike McCready for helping this all happen 💯🖤 maddest baddest ass vocalist! RIP LAYNE, CORNELL & CHESTER B. 💜
Layne was trying his hand at the guitar. Imagine what this band would be like if? Only if. McCready is just playing that guitar like his life depended on it. Wow screaming
When he shoved his guitar into the amp and started screaming at with his geeeetar I felt that!!!
Bomb-ass drumming!! love it
RIP RIP RIPPPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
lOVE YOU LANE! SEE YOU SOON. REST WELL.
My face is sufficiently melted. Thank you.
You can tell Layne is enjoying himself, just letting loose!! Totally awesome performance by everyone Mike, Layne, Barrett and John Baker Saunders and Sherik I think is his name. AMAZING I Love Mad Season. 😊💓🤘✌️RIP Layne and John Baker Saunders 😇💝🌹
Wow. These Vevo remasters are something else (!) Layne Staley & Mad Season in HD.
Mike McCready - jeez. Was not really a PJ fan bc I couldn't get into Eddie's voice.
But *This*? This is something else -
Unsung Guitar Hero of the 90$
this is absolutely perfect. McCreedy is super underrated. Fantastic stuff
think about it. this dude was in mad season, temple of the dog AND pearl jam, which is kinda sorta a successor to green river and mother love bone. So I think that sort of makes Mike McCready like... the absolute king of Seattle rock (or grunge if you must).
He's not underrated for fucks sake. I really wish people would stop writing this shit on every youtube video of every artist.
As the comment above says, he was in Temple of the dog, PJ and Mad Season. 3 successful bands.
@@LukeVisinoni he wasn't in MLB that was Gossard and Ament. Bruce Fairweather was the lead guitarist.
@@DaveTaste he means in the list of all time, douche. Mike unfortunately has really only gotten to exemplify his talents live for the last 20 years. Because of the type of music PJ make since No Code. He doesn't get to experiment in the studio like he does live. And since the casual listener isn't searching out live sets he goes unlooked as a all time great. He's the best the generation has to offer. But he won't ever get the credit for it because all eyes are on Vedder.
@@DaveTaste not that many people acknowledge McCready's presence. Very rarely do we hear about it on most things. That's what they mean.
Mike mccready absolutely shreds this jam. that is what a rock star does......
Barret is a great and talented drummer to the point of playing the drums with his own hands in this performance......no words!!!!!! amazin!!!!!
This one blows me away every freaking time I listen to it..it awakens me...for 7 minutes I'm in my zone...Thank you MS I appreciate the gift...Baltimore 2022
That breakdown at 7:10 is killer
It's debatable whether or not this is the best album of the 90's grunge, BUT I do believe it is the most meaningful and influential for many many reasons. Just my opinion of
course.
I've never seen such shredding, literally
There’s nothing like one-off the performances, it’s either all or nothing. Man those TAMA’s 🥁 sound great! ✌🏻
Death Cheaters Guild have to agree x
And the congas x
PJ fan here since 1993… i have just now been watching this concert for the first time (shame on me)
I can’t believe I’ve never seen this concert, which is awesome, but in particular this song November Hotel, and I mean what the f? Why is this not in amongst the greatest performances of all time?
