Sven is the most perfect name the game could have chosen for a reindeer
There is an active disease - you can research to figure out the problem. Says active outbreak at the top of the screen
Says we have a lack of barriers in planet zoo but never mentions the lack of barriers in Jurassic world evolution.

It would be awesome if the game had a very very small chance of reindeer being born with a glowing red nose! I think it would be cool but they would obviously be very rare
I don't know how the game works in this regard, but if this were real life, there is really no reason that Timber Wolves and Arctic wolves could not live together, for the simple reason that they are the same species! Timber Wolves, or Grey Wolves, belong to the species Canis lupus, while Arctic wolves are the specific subspecies Canis lupus arctos. In fact there are at least 23 living subspecies of grey wolf that are currently recognized (including Domestic Dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) and Dingos (Canis lupus dingo)) as well as several extinct subspecies. Although they are specifically adapted for the Arctic Tundra, Arctic Wolves are still very much grey wolves in every way, with pretty much identical social requirements, means of communication, ect. as any other subspecies. The only significant problem that would arise from keeping Arctic wolves with any other subspecies is that they would have no qualms about interbreeding, and from a conservation point of view, zoos generally like to keep species and subspecies pure and would not want to produce crossbred puppies. The same goes for the Grizzly Bears and Himalayan Brown Bears. Both are subspecies of the Brown Bear (Ursus arctos) with the Grizzly being classified as Ursus arctos horribilis, and the Himalayan Brown Bear being Ursus arctos isabellinus. Again there is no reason the two would not be able to cohabitate, although of course bears are much more solitary so keeping more than a few in the same enclosure would cause issues regardless. You could possibly try keeping a single Grizzly male with a single Himalayan female (or vice versa) and see if they get along.
id love some hybrid puppies/bears but the game could just allow them to live together but not breed like timber only breeds with another timber but its not realistic

@@mattcop1228 having multi speices habitats with carnivores like bears with possible hybirds (timber wolf plus a artic wolf would make a new breed)
I believe + and - can alter the length of the fencing, rather then you having to change it in the interface each time. It also changes either the length or width of the path :)

You're thinking of zoo tycoon you could have multiple bear species in that.

Missing tons of donation buckets and mechanics to fix the fences lol love the lights.
A couple of keyboard shortcuts that might be useful regarding barriers: +/- for length, spacebar for angle snap, and Z for adjusting a curve. (Hold Z while placing a curved piece and move the mouse side to side to flex the curve more or less, or in different directions.)
These shortcuts also apply to path placement. Additionally, you can use the bracket buttons [ / ] to alter path width. (Unfortunately Z does not affect path curves.... because the paths are stupid.)
Personally I find the keyboard shortcuts super useful-they just make the barrier placement flow a lot better for me, when I can use the keyboard to adjust things rather than clicking those sliders all the time.

i asked that question to can the arctic wolf live with the timber wolf. but i wish there was a way to know instead of just putting them together and see if they kill each other

You keep forgetting to put the animals in quarantine before putting them in the habitats, that's why they're injured and diseased right after... first buy them, put in quarantine, then in habitats, that way they take longer to get diseases or injured
I m a newbie to planet zoo. But I’ve been watching a lot of TH-cam. And everyone i watch has done the same thing . It seems to sometimes impact in a negative way on the animals and frustrates me no end every time i see it EVERYONE but one plaited the opening towards the viewing areas. Isn’t the point of a shelter to give them some privacy from prying eyes

SoapMonkeeyy Penguins don’t live in the arctic, all penguins live in the lower hemisphere. And several of them (Emperor, Adélie, more of the popular ones) live in the Antarctic.
Penguins will probably be in the marine dlc

SoapMonkeeyy Ohh okay I see, hahah. Yeah it is weird, but I’m assuming they have every DLC planned out already, and there’s definitely going to be some sort of marine dlc that adds diving/underwater mechanics. So penguins will probably come with that?
