I have a vizio soundbar and my dad has a sony one and he also has a yamaha 5.1 surround lol (I got the vizio for 40$ on facebook marketplace which is a steal because original price is 200$ lol)

I just love when it says put on your headphones while I'm sitting here surrounded by 13 speakers with over 1,800 watts potential and REAL Dolby Atmos decoding through my receiver. Yeah, I'm good thanks! 🤣No headphones necessary. Sounds awesome by the way. My tv is a 4K Sony Bravia which is more expensive than other choices but well worth it but my system consist of a Yamaha receiver and Klipsch speakers.

@@salemas5 No but if your processor and decoder can sort the intended channels it's nearly as good. I also have a Sony Bravia 4k connected to my receiver coming from my desktop. I've seen the HT-a7000 and to me it's kind of like those Atmos up firing speakers. I'd rather have the actual channels and speakers. Though the Sony is a lot easier to set up with no wires so that's the biggest plus!

This will be as unreliable as the HTST5000. I have the HTST5000 and the HDMI inputs have stopped working after 1 year. It’s been only 1 MONTH since my warranty expired but Sony support would not repair it for me anymore. I was just told to go to the service center and have to pay $400 for the repair

I have a HT-ST5000 since may 2017. Works like a charm. I will buy HT-A9 as soon as available
