Yeah, my Bose app tells me my bose 900 system is running on 2.0, not atmos. It's just up scaling the sound with truespace to make it sound like atmos. This stream.isnt dedicated atmos.
I'm on my computer listening with my Bose speakers from 2001 and feeling like I can hear how awesome the newer Bose with Dolby Atmos sounds. I currently have a Bose bar but will be getting an updated television soon, and I have Bose on my mind for that time. It's always my go-to for the best sound. Thanks for the demo!! Could have enjoyed a longer demo, but you can't have everything!😁
Brings back memories I remember hearing this when the CT6 first came out, and now the CT6 has been discontinued. Never got to hear that system in person. As much as I don't like bose with how overpriced their stuff is, how they engineer things, and their sound signature, I gotta say they made a really good demo. They also do ANC and anything digital processing well. Sounded great on my desktop audio setup. (m-audio studiophile dx4s with a presonos sub 8 subwoofer).
I have the same settup for my cabin, I will say it sounds better on a full 9.2 Surround system, and even better on a pait of monitor headphones. (AudioTechnica/Sennheizer).

Dont get me wrong, i used the QC35 for a while, but they sound GARBAGE! They are quite ok when using wired, but so poor when used over BT (as about 99% of all BT headphones) But i guess since you dont even realize that youtube audio quality is poorly compressed, cut off at 14kHz (where the QC35 should shine a bit with the highs,....), stereo only, resampled,... with your "amazing" QC35, i guess you easily dont know how a good source and system together sounds like.

I have a remanufactured Denon AVR-X3700H on order from the factory. I can't wait to get it (a week? a few months? - they're out of stock) Currently I have a 5.1 system and still need the height speakers to fill out the ensemble, but I'll be a happy camper when it's all said and done. Some of my Blu-rays and 4k discs have Atmos soundtracks. I bet they'll be like brand new movies!! The demo still sounds good through my Bose QC 35(?) headphones.
I got two e-mails recently that the unit was back in stock, and by the time I responded to the e-mail (one was sent at 11:53 at night when I was sound asleep) both had been bought by someone else. I wish that had a confirmed waiting list rather than a FCFS bulk e-mail dump...so this morning I'm going to go whole hog and order a brand new x4700 from B&H. at least I'll have 2 extra years of warranty coverage and I unit I'm certain won't be scratched up.

I made it the clever way and bought midclass gear from KEF and upgraded slowly and more or less only 2nd hand, ending up ofc with something like 3000-3500$ paid only for the speakers and subwoofers, but damn, the sound i get from proper KEF speakers in 7.2.2 is really AMAZING (not comparable to small Bose stuff at all!) Namely i am using IQ90s as front, IQ 30s next to each other and parallel as center (better than the "real" center...), aswell as IQ 30s and IQ50s as surround and atmos speakers. For subs i decided for a Klipsch RW-12D since i got my hands on it for cheap, upgraded some years later to a dual subwoofer setup with another RW-12D, totally love the extraordinary, neighbour wakening effects these 12" monsters still produce after nearly 25 years (yes, they are made anywhere between 1998-2002)

On a smartphone with activated Atmos through BT headphones it really does emulate spatial sound. Nicely done. However on a real Atmos setup with a receiver supporting it and 5.1.2 speakers, only front speakers are used. It is the youtube compressed stream. I wonder how the people are hearing amazing things from their speakers when watching this on youtube. Does anyone have a link to the original file?
@@upshifter5316 it's dolby surround if you want to emulate Atmos. Still DTS Neural X gives better results. Unfortunately my receiver doesn't have Auro 3D to compare.

On a smartphone with activated Atmos through BT headphones it really does emulate spatial sound. Nicely done.
However on a real Atmos setup with a receiver supporting it and 5.1.2 speakers, only front speakers are used. It is the youtube compressed stream. I wonder how the people are hearing amazing things from their speakers when watching this on youtube.

Good Ol Fashioned Dobly Pro Logic FTW! Infer surround from stereo sources. You are right, just 2 channels on YT Desktop or mobile.
@@upshifter5316 it's dolby surround if you want to emulate Atmos. Still DTS Neural X gives better results. Unfortunately my receiver doesn't have Auro 3D to compare.

Tozo golden x1 sounds pretty good but than again maybe tozo golden x1 sounds like crap because I never heard bose earbuds😅.
