TH-cam unfortunately is not very interested in delivering high standard audio as it will be widely wasted on 90 percent of its audience who will never use it or notice it, but at the same time it will increase the needed bandwidth and storage for every clip. It would be really nice if some standards are being pushed, but were talking youtube here. The place where trash quality videos are everywhere and the bots rule the comment section. If it gets a spring cleaning TH-cam will become 100 times smaller on the servers.
Hi. Is it possible to chat about ht a9 vs fully loaded a7000 with new 360 update sometime. I'm really torn which way to go. I own the oled a84j and interested in using that sync feature. I know you loved the a9 originally but have you tried the 7000 after update. I'm curious if tv centre speaker works better if spread as wide as possible. I'm not a gamer. Like good movies and clear vocals music. I guess I am asking does the full a7000 setup sound similar or same as a9 for clarity and atmos. Love your video. Thanks
The A7000 is an amazing bar, for sure, but nothing on the market even comes close to what the HT-A9 can do with respect to spatial representation. By putting those four speakers around you physically, you are at the very pinnacle of immersive sound. Pair either one of them up with a wireless Sony sub for best results.
The a9 is an absolute beast , 4 speakers with a Sony OLED tv assisting with the centre channel role👌🙌😍 . ( The a9s do a fantastic job on their own for the centre channel but not if your not sitting in the middle of the speakers the phantom centre is lost) There is also something about having 4 of the same sized speakers that make the whole 360 audio equally perfect from front to back in the soundstage !!! :)

It's actually one of the single worst movies ever made. I got up and walked out it was so bad. How that horrible film ever got put into production I will never understand. Complete waste of time, energy and effort.

Sony soundbars way to expesive for what they offer. Sound is not that great compared to bose and samsung or sonos the signal of the hta-3000 to the subwoofer to weak. I had to return the unit. I had JBL for 4 years and honestely the sound is better and i never had a single issue with the unit. I was expecting more from Sony.
Well, you are probably one of the very few people that actually feel that way today then. Samsung bars are well known for being massive disappointments (they are consistently the most returned bars in any retail store) and the Bose bars are well-known for being the LEAST reliable bar you can purchase (worse than Vizio and even worse than TCL). The JBL bars are nice and do sound very good, but they, just like Sonos, are constantly short on technology and features and are often several years behind other newer bars on the market. When all factors are considered, the Sony bars are far and away the single best choice on the market today. Best sound, most advanced technology, most flexible and capable features.

Sound cutting out all the time. I got me a JBL 500 Pro for around $ 450, and it blow the Sony setup. Sound powerful and the voices clear. Sony Sucks in every market, including mobile and video games. 💀 this is me waiting to buy a Sony product again. 💀 ☠️

@michaelbeckerman7532 a3000 dialog uses mono audio. It makes my ears uncomfortable. It is expensive and bad overall. Out of the 3 Sony sound bars I tried, I returned each of them. Rear speakers and sub disconnecting and cutting every second, no thanks. And about the video games. I totally hate Jim Ryan playstation Division's CEO because of bad decision making that ruined the brand. That guy does not represent the brand correctly. XBOX DIVITION. In the actual state, it is better than everything Playstation had to offer:In genera GamePass a great service at an afortable price and now the owners of Activition Blizard. And about cellphones, let just dont compare Apple #1, followed by samsung. Michael, I respect your preference, but Sony is not good end

That center channel, by itself, is considered mono...on ANY 3.1 sound bar - from ANY manufacturer. Sony is very good, at everything. I think you might just be misunderstand what it is that they are trying to do.

I believe YT does support a compressed version of 360 reality audio… my mic only captures 240 degrees stereo though. That’s the best I got
