This is great, but I cannot cross brace against glass, how else can I brace?
I have a Cultured ¼” marble solid slab shower wall (2-1/2 sides) panels enclosed with glass. One slab is coming off the wall on one corner, where my door is now not level. Half wall and doors are glass. Do you have a way to glue and PUSH/BRACE back to the wall?

Seems like tile would be cheaper and easier?

Hopefully no one actually uses this method to install because it’s incorrect and cutting the back panel and seaming back together is the wrong way to do it as well as takes away from the look of the surrounds

Exactly and this method is time consuming

Cutting the length to get it thru the door is very unprofessional and lazy.

The only other way to get the full panel in the room without cutting it is to TAKE OUT ENTIRE DOOR AND WALL! This would add about $1000 in costs to each bathroom and for the project it would add about $130,000. is that the way you would do it Marlon Martinez?

In my experience,, working for a marble company going on ten years the other way around making that cut is to turn that panel on its side and stand it up as you make it through the door if the bathroom allows for it. Sometimes you have to split the walls but to me it looked like a 5x94 in wall so on it’s side would fit through a standard door opening. Just my opinion with experience but there has been instances where there isn’t room in the bathroom to make that possible which in that case you have to do what these guys did and split the wall, but it did look like there was plenty of room to get it through in one piece. It looked to me like the installers just didn’t have very much experience working with big panels like these. We have installed hundreds of shower walls from mincey marble as well for a hotel in Stillwater ok.

Mitch31991 I do similar panels on hotels. Hilton and Marriott. It can be a pain, but they can be carried in on it’s side and stood up inside the bathroom. Even with vanity and toilet installed.

Sergey Pober I agree it could’ve definitely been done, it just makes the job a little more difficult but the results are much better for the customer in my opinion.

Mitch31991 We have successfully completed 5 different hotel projects and are very well experienced. As stated in the comment before it was impossible to get the full back panel through the door and then turned and then stood upright. That is why it was cut. You and all the others have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about.
