To get the real Babymetal experience, i would suggest listening to a live performance. They are one of those bands that are better live

The “WTF did I just watch” reaction is typical among first-time BABYMETAL viewers. A lot of their songs tend to get that reaction. If you decide to continue your journey down the BABYMETAL foxhole, you'll find great songs, good songs and ones that aren't so good, you'll find triumph (Sonisphere 2014) and tragedy (the departure of Yuimetal in 2018 and the unfortunate death of Mikio Fujioka, guitarist of the BABYMETAL backing "Kami Band"), you'll find Black BABYMETAL (BBM), and you'll find that although BABYMETAL started a brand new genre of music ("kawaii metal"), they cannot be pigeon-holed - they are almost always thinking and moving outside box; they made metal FUN!. They have only a bit over sixty songs and you're sure to find most of them quite entertaining. I will be the first to agree with the One that BABYMETAL is best served live, but they have several music videos that are real works of art (as you've witnessed) and definitely worth looking into (“Doki Doki Morning”, “Iine!”, “Megitsune”, “Karate”, and “BxMxC”. In my opinion, those are BABYMETAL’s best MV’s - so far!).
I've compiled what I consider to be BABYMETAL's top twenty songs/videos here on TH-cam; it contains both live performances and the above mentioned music videos. I sincerely hope that you consider reacting to them all (except "Karate" - one down, nineteen to go) th-cam.com/play/PLdhz2aj0pt4zPl0BZLevPUR9uHKQA27uj.html
I recommend that you start at the top of the list and work your way down: it starts with the very first MV they did (2012) and moves forward to 2019. I should mention that I cannot guarantee that reacting to these videos won't be blocked but with some creative editing that shouldn't be a problem.
BABYMETAL recently released their fourth album “The Other One”. I would strongly recommend that you react to their earlier work before delving into this last album: in my opinion, the contrast is striking.
Finally, I suggest that you avoid compilation and fancam videos like the plague: compilation videos are, in my opinion, an insult to both the viewer and the band; the music is certainly overdubbed, and the changes in venue and costumes (sometimes even personnel) can be confusing if not completely annoying. Watching a BABYMETAL compilation video is like eating prime rib after somebody else chewed it. You won't be reacting to BABYMETAL, you'll be reacting to a highlight reel of BABYMETAL. And fancams generally have terrible quality and sound thus being basically a waste of time.
    Sorry about the wall!
Enjoy your trip down the foxhole! (You're in for a wild ride!!!)
    KITSUNE UP!!! 🤘🦊🤘

Not sure what you know of BabyMetal, but the group (which in this video is just the three young ladies, Su, Yui and Moa) was formed in 2010 as part of an Idol School called Sakara Gakuin. When this Vidoe was made Su was first released (2016) Su was 18 and Moa and Yui were 16. the song is basically about overcoming obstacles, and never giving up. If you get knocked down you have to get back up again. And as shown when the figures in white had their masks destroyed, sometimes your biggest obstacle is yourself. It's funny you mentioned Doki Doki from one of your anime. They actually do a song called Doki Doki Morning, which is about the fast heartbeat as the are preparing for their day. If you continue your journey down the Fox Hole, people will tell you live is always better than the music videos, though I do enjoy the MVs since they better explain the song. If you continue, i suggest Road of Resistance (Live in Japan) a power metal song. Headbanger Legend 1997 which was a special show for Su's 16th birthday

They are on a world tour these days selling out arenas in US, Europe & Asia. Just watch their live performances and you will know that this is a different ballgame. Been an extreme metal fan for years, and nothing has brought me more happiness than Babymetal and their performances.

Check out some of the newer and/or live stuff. The music is always great and the live choreography is amazing as well as the fan base and crowd participation. Baby metal is hands down a real force.

They may not be your cup of coffee. But to inform you they have toured with some of the greatest rock / metal bands. Here is a list of those bands Babymetal toured with. Metallica, RHCP, Judas priest, Korn, Guns and Roses, and other masters of Metal. They are currently touring with Sabaton, and !ordi.

22 yrs? I think the girls are about 16 and the lead of about the age of 18 at the time of this clip. But I am not sure. But they are still children at that point of their career. They have matured since, at least the remaining singers. Now imaging 16 yrs-old girls jamming in front of an audience of about 6000 metalheads and doing their stuff. This is really a sight to see. You can't help but feel the joy they deliver and the appreciation they receive from the audience. See e.g. their performance at the Glastonbury, or earlier performances of other songs at Sonisphere.

BabyMetal began in 2010 there were Suzuka Nakamoto age 12 Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno (Yui left in 2018 due to health reasons). Both Moa and Yui were only 11 when the group began.
All three were friends and classmates who attended an idol school (Sakura Gakuin) founded in 2010 by Amuse Talent Agency for girls 10 to 15. Themed around school life the girls would learn and train to be idols and graduate at age 15 to move onto whatever entertainment path they chose.
Key Kobayashi was a music producer for Amuse and heard Suzuka sing at age 9 and was impressed with her strong vocals and stage presence. Kobayashi was a fan of heavy metal but believed that the genre had become stale and tired (especially in Japan) with metal bands getting old Kobayashi believed the genre needed to be reborn (BabyMetal means the birth of a new metal genre). Kobayashi felt that Suzuka had the ability to front a metal band and that her vocals and presence could withstand the metal guitars and drums. The fusion of Jpop and Metal began. He placed Moa and Yui as backup singers/dancers and a phenomenon was about to result.
At first Amuse showed no interest and the girls had only financing from Kobayashi. They performed at strip malls and small venues using clothes borrowed from friends and family. No money for a real band they had friends dressed in homemade skeleton costumes pretending to play instruments to a backtrack. They became a sensation (these young ladies paid their dues) and Amuse saw the potential and in 2012 hired the best session musicians Japan had to offer (The Kami Band) who tours with them today (now includes world class musicians from the USA for tours outside of Asia).
If you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to LIVE performance videos as this is where they shine.
They have over 50 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. They are fearless exploring many genres and have the respect of the legends of Metal such as Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Judas Priest and more.
Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.)
Suggest reacting to these for a start.
Karate LIVE at 2016 Download Festival in the UK where 60,000+ British metal heads sing along with the girls.
    Syncopation LIVE
Yava LIVE with Kami Band intro at 2017 Fox Festival
    Megitsune LIVE at Budokan 2021
Road of Resistance LIVE in Japan
    Headbanger LIVE
    Tales of the Destinies LIVE
Catch Me If You Can LIVE with Kami Band intro
At their concert in Yokohama on April 1 it was announced that a permanent third member Momoko Okazaki (who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been appearing with them LIVE since 2019) has officially become the third member.
Their new album in my opinion that released March 24 is amazing with so many different styles.
Good luck and hope to see you again.

really hope you do not review anymore Babymetal, these girls have changed music and are bigger than most, they released albums at a age that is younger than the son so for him to sit there laughing and taking the piss is a bit much, just give credit where credit is due and no more insults for 3 amazing young ladies.
