    Wow what an outfit! I remember Dad buying an 8 row 36" JD 7000 planter in 1975, that Dad pulled with our 4020, I thought we had a big planter! 😊

      Very cool. The 7000 series was brand new in 1975. An 8 row 7000 was big time.

    I really like the look of the John Deere 8RX Jason. Those liquid tanks on the back tracks are well integrated.

    Enjoyed the video Jason. It’s incredible how far agriculture has come! I am praying for you and all the great people in western Kentucky! My heart hurts for you but I know God will shine his light and Love upon all of you! Try and have a good Christmas. God Bless and peace be with you.

    As I said yesterday, I think John Deere will hit a home run with this combination. 👌👍

    Great reviews of this tractor, Jason... the planter also. Very nicely done.
    I watched the longer review with the J.D. rep that was posted on 4-26-2020 also... also very nicely done.
    Very few questions after these reviews... very thorough.
    There are only a few reviews on YT of this tractor and they're all short on information. I have to wonder how they're able to farm if they can't include the details.
    Your reviews of this tractor are fabulous.
    Hopefully, eventually, the IVT with CommandPro will be available on the 410. In the 4-26-2020 video, the rep sort of hinted that... sort of.
    Thank you for doing this.

    I actually got to ride in a 2021 8RX 410 for the first time. I thought it was super cool being in it and I got to dive it which was pretty cool. It was really interesting because my neighbor has a John Deere 9500 combine and the inside was more old schooler but the 8RX was new schooler.

      The combine and the 8RX are both pretty cool. But just looking at the 2022 model for the 8RX just makes me want to try it.

      The 8RX is a well designed tractor. Lots of power and glides across the field.

    Hey bigtractorpower power I have a question. Is there a name for tractor rim styles?

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a good question. I have not heard that but each manufacturer has their own style. Many of the rims are made by Unverferth for the OEMs.

      @@bigtractorpower the reason I was asking is because there is a video made by farmall51 and it's the 1985 CaseIH Farm Equipment Buyers Guide (recommend you check out the video) and at 2:10 on the bottom right it shows a Case International 484 and i was wondering if you could tell me what the name of the rims on the back tires are because I had a neighbor and he had a Case International 385 with a rops and canopy and the tractor had the same rim style as the 484 on the bottom right

    What does the nt stand for in this series

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      NT stands for narrow transport. Years ago the original folding 12-24 row MaxEmerge planters like the 7000 and 7200 series were 15ft wide folded. They were 6 row units wide folded. The 1770NT and now the 1775NT are only 4 units wide folded from 12-24 row models.

    Notice how he said 20 gallons to the acre that’s only 58 pounds to the acre with 28 % UAN or 70 pounds with 32% that’s not even half of what most guys will put out in total in corn. On a machine this efficient you would want capacities to be able to put 100 pounds to the acre to ensure only one pass with a knife rig. That means it would need to put out 28 gallons per acre with 32% to achieve 100 pounds per acre. That means in order to cover a reasonable 60 acres with one load it would need to hold 1680 gallons. In a perfect world this is great it can hold 1600gal max, but I can out plant this thing with a spreader truck with starter fertilizer and a box fill Kinze planter.😂😂 In short they need more capacity than they got space to put it.
