    I grew up next to a field outside a small town; Carlshamn in south-eastern of Sweden and got to see many agricultural machines working in all seasons for 16 years. It was exciting and educational, Even I liked the sounds of all the machines, they sang like a farm orchestra. Wonderful memories. 👁🚜💨👂🎼🎶⏳🇸🇪❤☺️

    Excellent. Puts it all together in one video. I can't imagine the debt load required for an operation like this however I suppose the majority of the equipment is leased. It's as far removed from the old 42 John Deer "B' I cultivated with in the late 50s and early 60s as the 'B' was from tilling the soil with an ox pulling a forked log through the soil to break the soil up.
    Many thanks for your entertaining and informative videos. 👍👍👍👍👍

    • @bigtractorpower

      In corn there is one application when it is about ankle high in late April and then the spray fungicide in late June early July.

    The only tillage they do is v rippers? Cause it looked like the following spring they just ran a harrow before corn planting?

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is correct. The soybean ground is subsoiled in the fall then a light harrow pass after NH3. Everything else is no till.

    I wondered if they had a compaction problem with all those double crop passes. Those rippers will really help

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Rippers do a nice job. It’s two years of traffic with corn and wheat seeding plus the wheat harvest and soybeans. The subsoiling works well.
