I have loving this decluttering series and I love how you talk through what you are decluttering and why as well as what you are keeping. I also follow Dana’s channel. Her first steps when decluttering are trash and “duh” donations then her decluttering questions.
@@donnav Thanks, Donna! Dana’s approach is amazing. Her first steps should be no-brainers, but apparently they aren’t. I know she has helped a lot of people with her process. I’m hoping in the future to do a more thorough evaluation of several of the decluttering methods out there. Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts!!
That looks so much better - amazing what a huge difference a small amount of time can make in a small area. (And I love the view from your window - beautiful mountains!)
@@Sunny-iq6hm Welcome to the Peaceful Home, Sunny! There aren’t many new ideas in the decluttering world, but I found Dana’s approach so revolutionary! Thank you so much for watching and for commenting. 😊
@@teresaelling-peacefulhome I've been binge watching your videos 😁. I have been looking for videos geared towards empty nesters/newly retired. Our situation is different, so that's a different perspective on decluttering. There may be a lot of videos on decluttering, but yours is a niche that isn't common.
Love the secretariat desk, had one in my dorm-room in the military, remember siting at it writing out checks to send my family and cc companies. I find them hard to come by nowadays. What happened to your big family table, Teresa? The one you have there now is so small. Great job on organizing, as usual. You’re the best! 😊
@@tcoladonato What a nice memory of military days. 😊 The big table is in between the kitchen island and coffee bar. (My autumn thrift haul was filmed there) We moved it there last Christmas to have more room in the living room and never moved it back. The little table is just temporary - using it for crafts for the grandkids. I am scheming some changes 😂
Hi Teresa! I love your adorable desk! You did a great job decluttering and styling it! I am working hard decluttering and my first video will go up Friday showing my progress for the challenge! Have a happy weekend! 🥰🤩😊
If you could pick one small area to declutter, organize and decorate, what would that be?
Thank you for the motivation, I finally cleared off the table in my spare room! I walked everything to its destination, including the donate pile 🙂

This is such a great idea because that huge mess loads me down every time!!
@@JenyferKersey
Right? It is genius! It can definitely feel like a slower method, but it will work and your house stays tidy at the same time 😁
I like your ribbon jar! Never would have thought of storing ribbon that way.

Thanks, Pippa!!
Just found your channel, great content! Love Dana White's no mess decluttering, especially the "take it there now" approach.
