    This nearby house was owned by friends of my parents in 1970's. I remember playing in it with their only son. Nice digs for three people and a dog! A Beautiful restoration here. Well done

      I grew up Sherwood Forest in the 70’s too. Loved that place.

    My favorite place- when I was a kiddo. It’s amazing how they restored it. ❤

    Our realtor owned this home approximately 10 years ago and did a large part of the restoration.

    Great looking home. How much would it cost to heat in the winter?

    Loved everything except the kitchen. Not beautiful enough for a $1.5 million home.

      WORTH EVERY DOLLAR and MORE ... if it where ANYWHERE else suburbs or another state I’m pretty SURE that comment would not be made ! Unfortunately I don’t have the income or need for a home of THIS SIZE !

    • @brucebeamon5460
      @brucebeamon5460 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They JUST DON’T make homes like THIS ANYWHERE and if they could or are it would cost MANY MILLIONS ABOVE THIS PRICE if the CRAFTSMAN could be found !

      To be fair this house was built in an age when the kitchen was pretty much just for servants in a house this size, to modify it may alter parts of the house they didn't want to change.

      The kitchen looks small- true- it has a huge butlers pantry off to the side. It was built in 1920’s the people who owned the place didn’t have to cook. 100 years ago was a very different era.

      @@lakeshoreshepherds741 True about kitchens not being the meeting place they are today in most houses.
