XReal Air 2 Pro: Installing prescription lenses

- Quick simple video to illustrate what I did to install the prescription lenses for the Xreal Air 2 Pro. This is similar to Xreal Air 2 as they are essentially the same.

Hi question for you, so if you’re near sighted without the lenses the whole screen is blurry then?
it depends on your condition. For example, if you are near sighted with -1 or less in each eye with no other condition you will probably be able to read most text except small letters. If you are playing FPS video games then you might struggle to see enemies in the distance. Pretty much the same you would observer in real life without the glasses. The difference is that for mirroring movies or your mac/windows desktop you can increase the resolution and it is bearable but for video games it might be a different story. I'd say it's a good idea getting the prescription lenses if you do normally need them.
does the insert come with the glasses or you have to buy that separate?
it comes with the nose pads in 3 sizes (S, M, L) and the inserts / lenses with no prescription BUT the best choice (in my opinion) is to either get them from Aliexpress (if your prescription if something simple) or from an authorised seller (it depends on your country).

can I get any optician to make those lenses?
The Xreal Air 2 Pro come with some lenses that you can probably take to your optician. I haven't taken this option myself but rather used either: Lensology or, as controversial as it sounds, Aliexpress.
2 Options I know would work:
Lensology:
If you are in the UK, Xreal has a partnership with Lensology, more details, for example, here: lensology.co.uk/xreal-air-2-ar-glasses/
If you are not in the UK the xreal air 2 pro page in your country should point you at the right direction.
Aliexpress:
If you have a "simple formula" this might be the cheapest route but they are not opticians YET it works. I tried this option for a simple myopia correction and has worked fine and comfortable. They provided everything I needed, I just had to give them the formula from my optician. If you have a condition that is more than "aliexpress" can do to help, I'd advise to go via an official optician (e.g. Lensology). It's a lot more expensive but you know you would have official support if something goes wrong.
This prescription lenses is confortable for you?
Thanks for this question!. In my case, it works ok but I had to move them slightly down and towards the front to move them a bit way from my eyelashes so that they are a bit under the black plastic and moved away from my eyes.
After doing that they are as comfortable as they can get. I'd say that as long as your range of vision is covered by the prescription glass it should be fine. I have watched movies, played for hours without any issues. I try to keep the clean because if dirty that will affect the experience
I wpuldnt biy anything this without demo first but they dont provide a way to that do that so they wont be getting my money
