@@bm-ub6zc no. People just braindead think German sounds scary because of the Nuremberg speeches. German was either the weakest or second weakest. Empirer comes from the latin word "pejorare" which became "impejorare". None link with the Latin word "imperator" that lead to empire, so it's not the same etymology
Solo diré que en LATAM el actor de doblaje para Palps es el mismo que se solía ser Muten Roshi , lo cual es uff ver como un solo actor puede dar vida a dos personajes que son Maestro y sabios, en diferentes espectros
If I'm not mistaken, the words "safe" and "secure" are the same in a few languages, which includes Romance Languages like French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Imperium und Reich sind zwar synonyme, aber „Imperium“ klingt irgendwie „größer“. Das Römische Reich heißt auch das Römische Imperium. Das Britische Reich -> das Britische Imperium (während _Britisches Reich_ eher _British Raj_ entspricht, was es auch in einem Land gab). Das Russische Reich -> das Russische Imperium. Reich ist auch nicht so beladen wie man denkt. Wir haben Wörter wie Königreich, Tierreich, zuckerreich, ionenreich, usw. Reichtum, Reichweite, usw. Ist eher dann, wenn man _Deutsches_ od. _Drittes_ Reich sagt, dass diese bösen Vorstellungen hochkommen.
Non-Germans have to understand this: In most cases the best English translation for "Reich" is "empire" but the best German translation for "empire" is not "Reich". "Reich" mean "realm" in a possessive nature. The Galaxy is Star Wars in not a political entity therefore "Galaktisches Reich" doesn't sound that impressive. Another example that someone else mentioned is that "France" is called "Frankreich" in German. Doesn't mean that France is in Empire. It's the realm of the "Franken".
I read so many times people calling it "latin". I am starting to believe that a lot of people actually think that is latin language, and have no idea why south america is called "latin america". They speak spanish, for fuck sake 😁

Anyone else get chills down their spine from the German version, regardless of whether or not you understood it?
Im almost sad that German is my first language, because I can imagine how menacing it must sound, if you don't understand it ...
@@bm-ub6zc no. People just braindead think German sounds scary because of the Nuremberg speeches. German was either the weakest or second weakest. It’s calm and articulate where the other languages all sound unhinged. The only one down at the bottom with German is Italian which sounds like a scary voice except the actor sounds like he’s had too much wine before the recording.
Yeah, since Hitler also had similar speeches in German.

In French, the verb "empirer" literally means "to make worse."
Pas faux 😂
And Empire in english come from the french word Empire
@@Thunderworks which came from the statue of emperor which was a derivative of imperator in the Roman republic.
Empirer comes from the latin word "pejorare" which became "impejorare". None link with the Latin word "imperator" that lead to empire, so it's not the same etymology
They are not related.
"Empirer" is the word "pire" (worst) with the prefix "Em".

If I'm not mistaken, the words "safe" and "secure" are the same in a few languages, which includes Romance Languages like French, Spanish and Portuguese.
2:10 the Empire lasted 23 years, the same as Mussolini's regime (1922-1945)
I waited for "Galactisches Reich", but he said "Imperium".
Sorry, but it whould be "Galaktisches Reich" or "Galaktisches Imperium"
Reichtum, Reichweite, usw. Ist eher dann, wenn man _Deutsches_ od. _Drittes_ Reich sagt, dass diese bösen Vorstellungen hochkommen.
Non-Germans have to understand this:
In most cases the best English translation for "Reich" is "empire" but the best German translation for "empire" is not "Reich".
