That wobble could be in part from the DDSS, seems pretty common thing supposedly including my own DDSS converted YD2 that wobbles and hunts. I was told some gyro or servo adjustments help but I've not tried it myself
Dang that sounds like the play forsure! I'll probably go that route instead of worrying about the sbus setup and extra cost of all that. I trust you haha
@@SeanLewisMedia I just helped my friend setup the DDSS, RSST & 550 this weekend and it was butter. The servo wasn't even programmed and the 550 was running zero damper and point, just the perfect match
There aren’t going to be much tuning options if you go futaba with the servo and gyro unless you get acuvance motor and esc and run sbus. Once you do that, the tuning options are endless bro.
That was forsure one of my concerns! I’ll probably grab a fresh servo that I can tune. I’m fairly sure this servo is just beat because it used to feel way better. I can’t afford the acuvance life haha!
@@SeanLewisMedia i jumped into rc drift and then got reignited on sim from @goosiest and the Gran Turismo movie tbh 😅.. direct drive wheels are next level and finally achievable (high learning curve for drifting 🥵😅), takes it to the next level
Thats sick! I still need to see Gran Turismo and Im sure it will be a sick! I for sure want to start puttting one together at some point. I need a better PC before I jump to deep haha
They are so fun! Mine and my girlfriends car are completely box stock and are still very fast. The "Box Stock" class does allow some small mods that make the cars drive incredibly well. Ill probably make a video soon explaining what Ive been learning. All of my buddies also have a car they are keeping box stock so we can race at their houses and keep it consistant. Some of the guys are running the PN Racing 70t motor at super-g and thats a bit quicker. That can be thrown into a stock car for something like $14 which is sweet. They do sell Mini Evos which are brushless and super fast but cost a little more to get running because you need the body, reciever and tires. Im pretty addicted to the making my box stock faster so i keep trying new things which has kept it fun. I think if I want to build a faster car I'll go with a Reflex Racing kit, those are like peak performance monsters straight out of the box from what Im learning and are tunable like a real 1/10 onroad car.
At the 2:30 ish point. Maybe a Lil before…. 😲😮💨😮💨😮💨🙌 Visual Poetry 🤘🤘
🙌🏼 Trying to find our flow for 2024🙌🏼

YESSSSS!!!! Best part of my day bro!!!
Let’s go! Thanks for always tuning in!
@@SeanLewisMedia for sure bro

Good to know I appreciate it!
Try an RS-ST first then go 550 later, it's the combo that won the championship!

Nice! Im excited to try some new stuff

Smashing a wheel off is hilarious! What kind of radio is that, that the steering spring broke?
Luckily it's just the stock radio so Im hoping I can get it replaced! It suprised me hahah
I’d go personally reved servo and keep your gyro
I might! I’m gonna start asking around the track that way I can find someone who knows some tricks to dial them in.
ur gyro is very good, so you dont have to change that
Ya the gyro is pretty new and works great. I’m gonna try a servo first and see if that solves my issues👍🏼
Heck ya! You drift in sim?
No but I've always wanted to try one! They look awesome!

hahahha god i want a mini z, are they are for the most part stock or tons of upgrades to get them that fast?
