    I’ve been training for years, and never realized you can still get an ultimate contraction by just going down to your head. This will definitely save your shoulders. Great tip!

      That's the same way I feel having that membership. Well worth it for all the knowledge they have on there. It's plenty of excerises I did wrong not knowing I was wrong.

    Over the years we were told behind the neck was bad but this technique is not damaging or hurting the shoulders when our gyms open will be doing these, thanks Charles 👍🏻

    Hi Charles. I have been doing lat pulldown behind neck for years. I go right down the neck and it feels great. My shoulder and neck mobility is ok allowing me to go all the way down. I do back day and finish off with this. I do 1set 8 behind neck 1 set 8 in front, increase weight 2 times then reduce and repeat the reps. Have a great day 🙌🏋️‍♀️👏

      I did it wrong when I first started lifting. Gave me all kindz of pinched nerves. Gonna try this version if I ever make it back to the gym

    I been doing this excersise for long time and when you holding the bar for 3 sec each rep and at the end 15 sec last to 30 is brutal

    I do shoulder press with the barbell & 45s the same way. Go up once the bar gets to the back of my head

      @@kassdremusic I live in Canada. We're on a lockdown and travel ban. If you're outside without proper reason, it's a $750 ticket or 6 months in prison. Has nothing to do with fear. I respect the man, and I believe he's worth the investment. Both in myself and also in his profession.

    What does a behind the neck pulldown do as compared to just a regular pulldown

      Behind neck pull-down squeeze more back muscle by keeping elbow pointing forward and also targeting the rear delt a bit 👍🏻

    I haven’t been in a gym in a year. Workout at home now. I used to do these in the past but not sure about now. I have a herniated disc in my cervical spine. Probably do more harm than good?

    Does the weight matter? I’ve done this today, but i only went to like 100lbs to focus more on mind muscle connection. I was also concerned about injury due to improper form. Dont need rotator cuff injuries!
