Huh. Didnt like this one, thought it too flimsy, but you've presented so well, I am changing my opinion. Pack tactics, flankers, jackal attacks, and raiding. Nice! Also, Clan Blood Spirit! Wooo!
Have you seen some of the art work others have done for many of these protomech designs? (Art by Matt Plog, RealMechisLove, Moolamu, etc) Some are astoundingly good. But again great video! Keep them coming.
Well, that is an interesting take! I can see your point. It would enhance the anti-infantry potential and annoy the hell out of everything with heat sinks.
@@AGS363 That's just fighting dirty. Very dirty... well that gets substantially more ugly. Like running some Cecerops through their warehouse district to give them a dilemma of chasing you or containing what your burn team set into motion, or taking out objectives with Cecerops while your mechs scrimmage with their mechs.
If you wanted an ultralight mech won't you get better results by putting a recon camera, sniper rifle, and hacksaws onto a Crimson Streak racecar? But then again this is a jihad-era design so it doesnt need to be optimal
@@alecciarosewater7438 If we want to ask that question, wouldn't it make sense to do away with several ton bipedal machines entirely, given they make an expensive and very tall, easily taregeted, and overengineered profile? ESPECIALLY with light mechs. Hover craft, wheeled vehicles, and vtol exist in universe. Much better scouts all said and done plus with miniaturezation of weapons, even better to battle with. Why bother with gyros, neurohelmet, and all that? And the answer is...because Battletech.
@@fedupN I thought the answer was "because jihad". Earlier eras had poverty and old tech, later eras had mercs to market expensive machines to. Sure you could stomp around in an atlas killing things but that's someone else's culture and why use a timberwolf when you can kill your enemies with the power of snake mechs?
I enjoy all of AGS 363 videos 😊
😀

As some red guy ones said: Speed is its own kind of armor.
Cobra Commander is gonna sue :P
Hey, if he passes a Trail of Position, he could join!
@@AGS363 Depending on which we're talking about, he totally could. Some are downright scary.

Oh yes, some of them are far above the official Artwork!
It wouldn't look out of place in the He-Man setting.
Now, after you mentioned it...yes. I could even see it as an Actionfigure.
Swapping the laser for a flamer could allow for some very dirty diversionary tactics.
Well, that is an interesting take!
