- Today on PhotoKitchen, we jump back in time, and look at the power and possibilities in old studio/flash pack systems and how this old gear could be your new choice for lighting.

I hope your battery never runs down, MD. We would all be the poorer for it. Nice bits and pieces of knowledge.
Thank you Joe!
Great video!
I just did the same thing - I traded my B1’s for a D4 pack since my projects have been more studio than location lately, and the recessed tube of the B1’s wasn’t optimal for larger modifiers.
I kept by B2’s and have a Bron Move pack for location work still, which has been plenty for me.
Thank you for watching. Sounds like you have a great system there.
great video!! The Pro7a packs are amazing. The heads are still expensive and hard to find though. Great video!
Well the good and bad news is you can find heads new, and if you planned on growing the system that is not a bad thing. I have found that I keep an eye out at B&H and Adorama's websites for their used gear. I know Ebay has stuff too, but I prefer to go through a store.
I'm sorry to ask, what was the tag on this kit in the US?
Tag? Do you mean price?
can i use my profoto acute ABS heads with this pack?
No, you can only use Acute heads with Acute packs. This pack takes "Pro" heads. You can plug Acute heads into a D4 pack, which has Air remote function, but even used, is very expensive.
