I very much appreciate that you usually include the Mars in your reviews, because I haven't really used anything else since circa 1980 and that's unlikely to change. Nice to get confirmation that it's still a contender. Musgrave's retro presentation is pleasing, though.
The Mars is an excellent baseline for comparison: competent, affordable and ubiquitous. Only downside is it takes some force to rub it on the paper, it's a grippy one.
Hi GenWivern2 - thanks for watching. The Mars eraser is consistently excellent. If that is the one eraser you have then you can always count on it to do a fine job. I also like the retro look of this Musgrave eraser. Reminds me of some of the erasers I saw when I was a kid. Thanks!
Hi Kevin, I am actually right in Pigeon Forge, Tennesee for Thanksgiving. Musgrave is only a few hours away! Also, Did you see the new Holiday Variety Pack from musgrave? It has some new pencils including a tipped version of the News 600 and a scented version of the Bugle. Have a great Thanksgivng. Louie
Hi, Kevin! Like you, a good eraser is a must for me. The Pentel is my favorite and most used eraser, but I've also come to enjoy using the Apsara Rub-a-long and the Clear Radar Seed eraser. I get the Apsara from Amazon and the Clear Radar from Daiso. I feel like my erasers don't age well and become ineffective over time. Is there a way to prolong the life of an eraser? Is there a preferred way to store them? Thanks for the video. I always enjoy watching! Have a lovely day, Kevin!
Hi Nancy! You can never go wrong with the Pentel. That is also my most-used eraser. Haven't tried the Clear Radar Seed. I don't know how to really prolong the effectiveness of most erasers. Exposure to air naturally dries them out over time. Although I have had a couple of Pentels that lasted a long, long time and erased well right to the end. Pentel makes this pencil cap erasers which I have also come to really like, since most attached erasers are pretty bad. Thanks!
Thanks for your thoughts on the Bic Cristal Up, kuhliloach! You could take the ink tube from a classic Bic Cristal and put it in the barrel of a Bic Cristal Up and you'd have the perfect Bic pen for yourself! Thanks!
Not exactly impressed with this eraser. It fails the baseline test against the Mars, let alone the Pentels. Musgrave needs to step up their eraser game to keep up with their pencils.
Pentel hi-polymer is a favorite eraser for me .
High quality eraser right there.
Hi Recordesk! One of my favorites, too! A great eraser!
0:24 to skip the bugged intro.
*NOTE:* I only post timestamps like this when the handwriting intro fails to appear on the screen.
Hi DFT - I don't know why this happens every so often. A bug somewhere - my edited version plays properly. Thanks!
Awesome review as always Kevin!!!! Just bought my batch watching your videos as always 😅
Thanks so much, Roxy! Let me know how you like them!
Kevin great video. I just got these erasers too with their “holiday” pencil pack.
Thanks, Terps! I really like those Musgrave holiday pencil packs!
I love ur every video…
In love with ur handwriting ❤
Hi Jay - I really appreciate you watching! Thanks so much!
Look up the Pencil Parable Kevin. Enjoyed seeing the eraser box, I enjoyed it very much.
Hi read the Pencil Parable - just loved it! What a wonderful life lesson! Thanks for letting me know!

Hi Louie! Yes, I saw the holiday pack from Musgrave and ordered one! I'll have a review of it in the future. Thanks!
@@AlwaysAnalog Awesome! I have to get a pack but I'm a bit strapped for cash!

Hi DFT - yes, the eraser is just OK. There are certainly many others that are consistently good performers. Thanks!
