Brilliant vids mate. Great content and professionally made. The right mix of raw footage and super editing. Can't wait to watch the rest of your journey ❤
keep doing what you love brotha ❤ I started watching since im curious to other gyms here in PH and im from manila. beautiful gyms all over our country, waiting for your next country ❤
Yeah its on par with what I would pay in the north of the UK. Nothing compared to India where everyone is a 12th degree kickboxing black belt and local champion 😂
Those gyms that he went to are for the rich and foreigners who's not yet familiar of other gyms that train real prize fighters,If he visited the team Lakay,Lions mma,Fight corps in Baguio,he would've been surprised how cheaper and the caliber of international fighters he's going to train with,Most One championship champs and former champs are in their.
Fiipinos only train martial arts for exercise or for competition to earn some money that's why it's so expensive. We don't use martial arts as self defense here we prefer using guns or knives.
If you come to Thailand again I would love for you to come to the little gym I use. It has great atmosphere with a good coach you will like it and your technique will benefit a lot.
Was definitely shocked with the prices since im a local in baguio the gym that im currently training at is 100 pesos walk in and become free when you compete for them and other gyms that my friends train are 2k pesos monthly and yes atleast in my experience gyms here are more you kinda do your own training kru provides feedback and you kinda build your routine of that thats all love from baguio

Honestly, you shouldve went to baguio! Thats where most of our esteemed fighters train in MMA and kickboxing. You should try finding lions Gym in km.4 of Team lakays gym km.5-6 in Pico.
Bro come to Koh Samui, you could probably get 15/20 videos made from all the gyms there alone, and there's a big community of UK guys there (with the current ONE Champ Jon Haggerty there too at Lamai). Anyway, what i liked about this was your knee form, really pushing the hip through like a dagger
I was actually in Koh Samui for 4 days last week as my friend was visiting! I managed to get down to Yodyut, Superpro and punch itn. I'll be back in a few months and might just spend a week at Lamai! Thanks bro 👊🏻
Hello Gaz, if you find yourself in the south of Manila next time, in a place called Cavite, do check out Biagtan Muay Thai. I trained there 10 years ago, and my experience there was very enjoyable. Plus, the main Kru there, Raysaldo Biagtan, has a lot of fighting experience. I once saw the man shadow box while wearing a gas mask. Dude is a beast.
this is what i hate about gyms here in manila. most coaches have no passion to teach.. i know a few who has but mostly they are not going to take you seriously and will tire you just to get over you.
Some MMA/muay Thai gyms are very pricey for pilipinos who actually want to learn the martial arts, since there is more gym equipment/machines to use for a better strength and conditioning to train with. 700-1500 pesos?? I might just build my own gym at a yard 😂 (im broke)
I wonder if you tried Elorde Manila. 10 years ago. My trainer (Boxer, I think he aint there anymore) there has a routine 3 x 3 mins each 1. Warm up 2. Run inside the gym 10 to 15 times 3. Padwork 4. Speed bag 5. Padwork 6. Double end 7. Padwork 8. Heavy bag 9. Skip rope 10. Rope weaving 11. Abs 12 Stretching. The best training of my life. 100x better than what I get in western countries.

It's wierd that in a country that's so cheap for everything martial arts is so expensive. And everyone loves to brag about their certificates.
Yeah its on par with what I would pay in the north of the UK. Nothing compared to India where everyone is a 12th degree kickboxing black belt and local champion 😂
Usually more pricey when you do per session fee. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be much cheaper when you do monthly sessions
@@reddot7886 he's paying 1500 for one session. my house for 1 month is 5500

When in France learn how to make croissants. When in Philippines, learn spear fishing. When in Thailand learn Muay Thai…
Try Majestic Boxing gym next time you’re in Makati. It’s a good hybrid gym of fighters and commercial. Great coaches for all disciplines

The best gyms are in Baguio or La Trinidad if you're looking for muay thai or mma gyms
can you give me some gym names in there? and some muay thai gyms that you can compete for
@@kheal6098 Team Lakay in La Trinidad produced the most well known mma athletes in the Philippines, La trinidad is just 30 minutes away from Baguio
see you soon again sir
See you soon 💪🏻
Wow!! 700 a drop in!!!!😮 Thats expensive. I don't think im going there....
You should go to davao there are gyms there
Man trained in Makati badically NYC of the philippines. Try marikina or pasig.
Much more affordable there
First time in the Philippines it makes sense for me to visit some of the more 'touristy' locations.
Are those Thai trainers or philipino?
Why do you put Kombat Sports Kalayaan "CEBU". We don't have that here haha. We do have other MMA facilities here.
700?? There are gyms that offer classes at around 300 and they send fighters to international competitions.
You should try Yaw-yan and Kali.
Thanks! I'll give it a go for sure

Of all the places, you haven't got to THE BEST MMA Training facility in Philippines = The Lakay Gym. This gym give birth to a LOT of OneFC Champion.
Yeah I messaged and emailed them but didn't manage to get hold of anybody until it was too late
@@fightervault you need to personally go there bro. I went there :) Friendliest people in the gym.
Let me know if you make it to Chicago. I’ll introduce you to my home gym, Benjilany Striking. Really good, technical training!

The air quality in manila is awful... it most likely caused you to gas out quickly
Kinda true, even though I didn't go there yet
Try Arnis / Kali!

The teaching in Elorde BGC is horrible.
What gyms would you recommend?
@fightervault maybe stay away from commercial gyms, and go where most fighters train. Elorde in BGC is a McDojo.

It's not Metro Manila, per sé. There are a lot of good gyms in the metro you can go to for half that price.
