Please accept this from just another internet idiot, but it looks like when you are practicing your push kicks, you land on the bag near the limit of your reach in an arcing motion. The instructor is lifting his leg and around three quarters of his reach is attacking straight forward. This makes it easier for your opponent to counter you as well as severely hamper your power.

Kombat Sports Kalayaan used to be called Team Insider, it was one of the first gyms I've trained with when I was younger. The coach you trained with, we used to call him Triple G. Coach Jayjay Torbiso is really friendly and teaches great techniques. Awesome vid. Keep it up.
