Thanks for this vid. Taken down several notes on ps5vr2 compatible games. Great tip on the physical copy of OVRdark - didn’t know it existed. Ordered a copy from the publisher’s store. 😊
Looks like I missed this video, too. Fantastic idea to take advantage of that great price and get a backup PSVR 2. I wish I had heard about that discount at Very, as I might well have done the same as you. Some great games in your collection. You’ve definitely put a couple on my radar that I hadn’t thought about buying. Ovrdark has certainly peaked my interest. I totally agree with all you said about GT7. However, after playing for a couple of months on the controller, I opted to get a second hand Logitech G923 and a wheel stand. It was a little tricky to get used to at first, but I now absolutely love it. It adds that next level of immersion and actually makes playing the game even more enjoyable. Like you, I wasn’t really that into driving games, but the total outlay to play GT7, including the PS5, PSVR2, wheel, pedals, wheel stand, and game as well, was worth every penny. I can’t wait to play it on the PS5 Pro, as it will look and feel even better.
@@PsimanUK oh dude yea I can only imagine how immersive gt7 with a wheel is. If I had somewhere convenient to store one I might be tempted (bungalow, literally can't think of any spare space that would be convenient to keep it that the missus would be OK with lol)
@@shenmeowzo Yeah, the space it takes up is a downside. I bought a foldable wheel stand with the intention that I would pack it away when I’m not using it, but I always leave it set up in the corner of my games room. It means I sacrifice a bit of the floor space in the part of the room where I do room scale VR, but the up side is I only have to drag my chair from the other side of the room and I’m ready to race. I actually play it a lot more than I thought I would. If I had a bigger room I’d more than likely get a full-size rig.
I appreciate the video. I just got a headset in the sale and have had a hard time finding a definitive list of physically released games. I avoid digital if I can help it so this helped out a lot! Ovrdark doesn’t seem to be out on disc in the US at the moment and from what I have read online, DLC is only compatible on discs in the same region as your PS store account. Not sure if that’s the same for updates or not but that would be a deal breaker to me for buying out-of-region discs.
@@McBicbic I doubt there will ever be any DLC for Ovrdark so I think you'd be fine to get an EU copy, it's quite a short game and is already an offshoot of another game.
@@Jerome-C for the amount of views this channel gets, that would be a lot of work lol. But the ones I recommended are worth going to research further. ;)

@@robertbowling3679 not really. You get a sort of hunting feel to some of the gameplay in song in the smoke because you can harvest stuff from the animals you take down, but no dedicated hunting game yet.
