Sylvester has always been my favorite action star. Understanding what he went through shooting the scenes for these movies makes me appreciate his films even more.
When he was 64 he suffered a neck injury when Steve Austin pushed him against the wall in the expandables fight scene! Shows no matter how old you are you still got it! And Sylvester Stallone is build like a tank
RIGHT im thinking the same thing. Like we love you man youre an inspiration the speech you gave in rocky 4 or what 5 ish? to your son about no matter how hard the world punches you its about you getting up etc... INSPIRING! Please be careful on Expendables 4 thru 8 and Rambo the Prequel part 96 lol.
Stallone is one of the most dedicated people in the entertainment industry. He practically invented the action hero. I just wish he could go on forever. You’re the BEST, Sly! We love you!
His left side of his face was Paralyzed and he used to Slur Bad 💯 from when he was born the Dr had to use Forceps to get him out and they Busted a Nerve in his face 💯💯💯
Balls of steel. How many individuals would be willing to endure so many injuries, some or them very serious? It's clearly not about the money, Sly is just extremely dedicated to his craft. RESPECT!
Sly deserves a special Oscar for his development of the action character.I remember him from early films as a young thug unseccsesfully trying to mug JACK LEMON in THE PRISONER OF SECOND AVENUE and as MACHINE GUN JOE in the original DEATH RACE 2000.He was also in a movie with it all hanging out for a few seconds before he became a stallion (The Herod experiment).Somehow magic struck when he developed the ROCKY script and found financing to get it made. Not hard to see how,he became obsessed with body building and fitness to augment his adequate acting abilitys and showed the world when ROCKY became an Oscar winner. All the injuries talked about here are true, but he has also had many of the more common ones like loss of a Son,wife's and family members but yet continues to be one of the most financially successful film makers in the world.Hats off to ya SLY !!
So many injuries and still stands like a champ. He is really a trooper when he sacrifices his body and puts a lot of dedication to his performance. And that I say, thank you for putting a good show, Sly.
Some people have a high tolerance for pain, willingly putting urself in harm's way to get a shot. Most people would just use stunt double. I commend Stallone for not using body double to make it real. Stallone and Jackie Chan are two people with high tolerance for pain to suffer for their craft, these two deserves our full respect.
No big news but although Franco was a smart business man, amazing bodybuilder and accomplished chiropractor, he was a real Dick of a person. He was friends with Arnold and Arnold and Sly had a rivalry as a box-office draw, and Colombo used to screw with sly when he trained him
The knuckle thing happens to everybody who hits things harder than a punching bag regularly. It's something I look for if someone is talking up their experiences. Most true martial artists have this bridge connecting the first two knuckles.
I've only know about the accident he had in First Blood when he jumped off and landed in a tree branch, but I never knew about the other accidents he had in the other movies and hearing about them in detail makes me feel pain. Ouch!
hardest working man in cinematic history , broke almost every bone in his body plus look past 4 decades of stage bodybuilding plus plus plus , no one touches this mans heart and effort ,'' STOP PUNCHING MICHAEL'''
Even MORE respect for Stallone now I know what he had to cop when making these movies. The first Rocky and First Blood are two of my favorite movies ever.
We definitely should all take a moment to appreciate the sacrifice made to entertain us said well Sinclair I feel saddened cause he got hurt and he didn't quit he went on strong
Sly is probably the best Action Star ever cuz he does so many of his own Stunts and Real Punching 💯💯💯💯👍👍👑👑👑👑👑 He's a good husband and a Great Father Too 💯 love and Respect
You've really got to hand it to sly he was just like his roll in rocky always pushed to the limit and give 110% really admirable and I've heard he was actually Electrocuted in rambo 3 one of the co-stars said he could smell burning skin and hair when he was on the rack
I can assure people in US, if there's any hollywood actor rural people in India have known for a very long time, it is definitely Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I was honored and privileged to work on Expendables 1 as a Palace guard and I was working on set when Steve Austin injured Sylvester Stallone by accident and let me tell you, Sly is a real tough man and a great man who cares about everyone including Extras like me and made sure everybody has a chance to shine so I'll be forever grateful 😎
Sly is a top hand a good man thanks for all the great movies you put out God Bless and btw Sly built his body and his fortune from NOTHING!!!!!! he earned everything he has at least 3 times over.
The final fight in the first film was filmed in reverse order as it was cheaper to just remove bits of make-up than reapplying it multiple rounds apparently.
People wonder why us 80’s babies our different 😅 Sylvester, Chuck , Patrick, Kurt , Bruce , Wesley , Samuel , Denzel , Al and literally about a dozen or more! Didn’t even name any really from Good Fellas or A Bronx Tale and then we had Pimp movies 🍿 and John Claude in The Kick Boxer films Charles CHARLES Fukken BRONSON IN DEATH WISH ☠️ 💀 I remember being obsessed with the death with films as a young young young kid and being amazed I could hear them dropping F bombs on public television because of bad editing in certain scenes. The scene where one of the baddest men alive was eating and licking ice cream and him setting the scene for someone to steal his camera so he could use the 475 WILDEY MAGNUM 😍 I was like 5-7 years old and NOBODY KNEW I WAS WATCHING DEATHWISH AT 10pm😅 Edit: I can’t believe I forgot to add Mel Gibson! Definitely impacted my childhood 😂 made me a fan of the GMC SIERRA 3500 when he used it to pull the house down 😅
They should have included how Roberto Duran kicked his ass during the filming of Rocky 2. My other favorite was when they brought in Ernie Shavers to be Clubber Lang. He gets in the ring with Shavers (one of the hardest hitting heavyweights ever) and says " cmon Ernie show me something " so Shavers hit him in the liver with a nasty right and Sly crawled out of the ring to a bathroom and was throwing up in a urinal!!! Lol. He's never been the brightest bulb .
and this, lady and gents, is why back in the days you didn't ask you friends if they were going to see the new Stallone movie, YOU WENT to see the new Stallone movie, period, no discutions even allowed.
Bottom line? Human bodies can sometimes take an incredible amount of abuse, however in the long run? As you age those previous injuries will definitely will come back to haunt you. Rocky movies are still my favorite thou😊
After seeing this i feel like running up a flight of stair or punching someone in the face a few times then screaming "Yo Adrian................ I did it"
9:20 Stallone tore his Quadraceps let's not even give a mention to the 4 blokes that were ripped apart by that huge calibre round let's worry about Sly's Quadracep LOL
I love Stallone and everything he’s done, so don’t kill me in the comments lol, but I can see Jackie Chan in the back saying “only those injuries….. weak” lol
Wow I never knew that about sly I always wondered why he had his speech and facial issue though that one’s not massively noticeable I also was a casualty of forceps as a baby but I came of slightly worse than sly I had a stroke due to the forceps used on me and that gave me a disability called cerebral palsy.
I have a story about soccer... I was in high school and in gym class the teacher thought it would be a excellent idea to put me as a goalie.. and guess who was on the other team 2 very skilled soccer players.. I said f it why not.. so I'm standing there and these 2 skilled players somehow kicked the ball in a way that it curved mid flight.. and it hit me directly in the face broke my glasses completely and I was spitting out blood.. and I yelled at the teacher.. see this is why it's not a good idea to put me as goalie.. with 2 apparently skilled soccer players on the other team.. I picked up my busted glasses.. while blood was just coming out of my mouth and I left the school and went home.. the school did call saying to come back I just said go look at the trail of blood from the gym class to the exit... and down the sidewalk.. and ask your stupid gym teacher why it's a good idea to put someone who didn't even play soccer as a goalie against 2 skilled players on the other team.. and no I ain't coming back I have no other pair of glasses.. and without them I can't see shit and hung up... and went to hospital I had a pretty long cut on my tongue idk what they did but it healed in about 2 to 3 days.. and went back to school and intern I went straight to the principal and said look I ain't going to gym class with that idiot of a teacher.. I'll skip it if I have too.. and go into the old gym and play ball there.. or put me in the ISS room idc where.. and was sent to the library and I read books.. for the hour.. if I would of went to gym class harsh words would have been said.. I told him
HOW IS........... The fire hose was so powerful that IT KNOCKED OFF HIS PROSTHETIC SCARS AN INJURY Prosthetic Scars are props How is knocking them off and injury ?
Sylvester has always been my favorite action star. Understanding what he went through shooting the scenes for these movies makes me appreciate his films even more.
Can we take a moment to appreciate his sacrifices to entertain us? That’s some serious dedication.
Definitely 💯
Stallone is a tank. Injury after injury and he still gets up a puts on a good show. True dedication.
A greasy 200 pound Italian tank!
Mick
When he was 64 he suffered a neck injury when Steve Austin pushed him against the wall in the expandables fight scene! Shows no matter how old you are you still got it! And Sylvester Stallone is build like a tank
He deserved every cent he made, thanks sly now please take it easy
THANK YOU
RIGHT im thinking the same thing. I LOVE U MAN🏆🎇❤️👍
ONE THE GREATEST ACTORS
EVER EVER 1 BIG LOVE💪
It's a sacrifice for the craft I've seen much weaker actors quit after lesser injuries. Sly really is an inspiration in character and reality
Injury After Injury, Still Walking,Legend
Stallone is one of the most dedicated people in the entertainment industry. He practically invented the action hero. I just wish he could go on forever. You’re the BEST, Sly! We love you!
Stallone's voice is one of the most iconic things about him.
Yes! I can recognise it from anywhere
Imagina em português 😎
His left side of his face was Paralyzed and he used to Slur Bad 💯 from when he was born the Dr had to use Forceps to get him out and they Busted a Nerve in his face 💯💯💯
Balls of steel. How many individuals would be willing to endure so many injuries, some or them very serious? It's clearly not about the money, Sly is just extremely dedicated to his craft. RESPECT!
This guy has broke half of his body. He goes to the hospital and they’re like “this guy again” 🤣
This man is one of the toughest and most resilient people in the world. Plain and simple
HE ALSO WROTE & PRODUCED A HELL OF A LOT OF MOVIES NOT ONLY FOR HIM ,, BUT OTHER ACTORS ( STAYIN ALIVE ) WITH JOHN TRAVOLTA WAS ALL SLY ...
His birth has nor had anything to do with his superb acting . He’s perfect just the way he is. Anyone else agree?
He will never be topped, he’s incredible
This is sad. But damn Stallone is no joke ! A true survivor and love of his craft ! Guy needs some more rewards!
While Jacky Chan proudly claims he used no replacement
Just watching this made my body hurt. You rock, Sly!
Great actor came from nothing lived on the street to where he is now well liked man and never demanded anything when on set to a great man
Some people have a high tolerance for pain, willingly putting urself in harm's way to get a shot. Most people would just use stunt double. I commend Stallone for not using body double to make it real. Stallone and Jackie Chan are two people with high tolerance for pain to suffer for their craft, these two deserves our full respect.
Carl Weathers was SUCH a great choice
This man got more injuries and do more dangerous stunts more than Tom cruise 💯💯💯💯 both u guys are an inspiration and earned my respect ✊
No big news but although Franco was a smart business man, amazing bodybuilder and accomplished chiropractor, he was a real Dick of a person. He was friends with Arnold and Arnold and Sly had a rivalry as a box-office draw, and Colombo used to screw with sly when he trained him
im amazed this man is still alive
Him and Jackie Chan both
I can't believe how much Stallone sacrifices just for the sake of our entertainment! Well done Stallone! Now go and have a rest!
dude broke some ribs in the cliff jump in Rambo, when he hits the tree, he's really hurt.
Thanks for repeating what was already said.
Heroism is not the bed of roses...he proved it.. he's genuine hero not grafix.. hero..
True blood ❤ great man great work true actor ❤
The knuckle thing happens to everybody who hits things harder than a punching bag regularly. It's something I look for if someone is talking up their experiences. Most true martial artists have this bridge connecting the first two knuckles.
Not only he tends to act and take injuries in his movies but he also write his best movies scrypts too.
Fact
Stallone: *injures himself doing stunt*
Schwarzenegger: *injures himself stretching for the stunt*
Stallone: I've officially won our feud
He's a beast!
I've only know about the accident he had in First Blood when he jumped off and landed in a tree branch, but I never knew about the other accidents he had in the other movies and hearing about them in detail makes me feel pain. Ouch!

Even MORE respect for Stallone now I know what he had to cop when making these movies. The first Rocky and First Blood are two of my favorite movies ever.
Brian Dennehy said he was a very hard working actor, and he deserved everything ha has.
Talk about getting into character. He definitely did that!!!!
wow I had no idea he got hurt that much no wonder has acting looks so real great job sir thank you for all your decades of entertainment
Sly is a tough guy for sure..
He earned every goddamn penny of his fortune…he sacrificed life and limb for our entertainment
Always loved him. Did some cool movies.
Totally understand the feeling when you get old and how much easier it is to get hurt.
We definitely should all take a moment to appreciate the sacrifice made to entertain us said well Sinclair I feel saddened cause he got hurt and he didn't quit he went on strong
The most impressive injury from Rocky III was his near death commitment to getting toned.
Sly is probably the best Action Star ever cuz he does so many of his own Stunts and Real Punching 💯💯💯💯👍👍👑👑👑👑👑 He's a good husband and a Great Father Too 💯 love and Respect
Sly has been through the wars
Sly is one TOUGH BAD ASS.
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Underrated channel.
What a powerful voice
Beast Mode
Bravo sly
The American Jackie Chan.
You've really got to hand it to sly he was just like his roll in rocky always pushed to the limit and give 110% really admirable and I've heard he was actually Electrocuted in rambo 3 one of the co-stars said he could smell burning skin and hair when he was on the rack
No mention of cliffhanger, he tore his arm muscles BAD on that movie.
The dude literally suffered for his art
I love you Sylvester Stallone
Just to think all of his stunts are real. Wow
Great video 👍🏽
“Winter in Canada is a tough place to survive”
First blood was filmed in Hope, not really a frozen wasteland 😂😂😂
people: it's Hollywood, it's all fake
Stallone: listen here....
As sly said, " life hits you hard"
All I can say is: Adriannnnnnnn!
I can assure people in US, if there's any hollywood actor rural people in India have known for a very long time, it is definitely Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

How big of a guy was he? I heard he was like 5'5 or 5'10
Nothing beats Jackie Chan.
Sly is a top hand a good man thanks for all the great movies you put out God Bless and btw Sly built his body and his fortune from NOTHING!!!!!! he earned everything he has at least 3 times over.

Shit, I never knew this about Stallone! New found respect for this guy
and this, lady and gents, is why back in the days you didn't ask you friends if they were going to see the new Stallone movie,
YOU WENT to see the new Stallone movie, period, no discutions even allowed.
Bottom line?

As you age those previous injuries will definitely will come back to haunt you. Rocky movies are still my favorite thou😊
I WILL TO SEE ALL JACKIE CHAN'S MOVIE IS FIRST TO LAST MOVIE OF JACKIE CHAN'S CAREER.
Stallone sustained not one injury from Mr T because he pitied the fool. 😉
After seeing this i feel like running up a flight of stair or punching someone in the face a few times then screaming "Yo Adrian................ I did it"
You have to look at today's Hollywood stars, with the possible exception of Tom Cruise, who all cry when you don't get their Avion water.
9:20
Stallone tore his Quadraceps
let's not even give a mention to the 4 blokes that were ripped apart by that huge calibre round

LOL
that drago is a real monster lol
I love Stallone and everything he’s done, so don’t kill me in the comments lol, but I can see Jackie Chan in the back saying “only those injuries….. weak” lol
Yeah, but no one is on Jackie's level.
Sorry, but I can hadly understand anything because of the all too loud music during your you talk. : (
I also heard that he got hypothermia when filming Cliffhanger
"He ain't got time to bleed!"
Wow, didn't want to have surgery on his pectoral muscle because he had a tattoo of his wife there, now that's dedication to his wife
and this is why Tyson Fury has a bit of extra padding...
Welcome
Back to my channel
LrShion
Today this happy birthay Sly.
Hogan is a giant it would have took a lot of balls to let him throw you about.

The fire hose was so powerful that IT KNOCKED OFF HIS PROSTHETIC SCARS
AN INJURY
Prosthetic Scars are props
How is knocking them off and injury ?
I saw the Rambo First blood yeah watch closely it did! Sly is badass!
Essentially Sly is the blue collar Tom Cruise. Small man complex X Hollywood. One’s just prettier than the other.
We got AI uploading videos and becoming TH-camrS now.
franco, thats why rocky 4 - makes sense
How does anyone survive this amount of injuries?
Sorry if I don't feel sorry for him. He's damn near a billionaire. I love Sly. I grew up watching Rocky movies
Snooper do all movies of lou ferrigno
Ron Simmons- "DAMN!!!"
If you got the BATMAN MONEY $$$... Human Growth Hormones help with the recovery process.
Why no rocky will ever beat a Stallone one
What the hell is the swastica doing hanging in the stands?? This can be seen at 3:52 point in video.
