Emulating a console typically means your pc has to be like three times stronger than that console if I'm remembering it right. Plus a lot of games don't run well on rpcs3 regardless

Not all games have patches, after you have downloaded the patches you will see whether if your game supports patches or not, if the game doesn't have any patches, no patches will show in the list About Updating, you can watch my video about updating the games
Hey can you help me? I have downloaded rpcs3 and the first game im tryng is the last of us. Version 1.1.1 something, the latest. I have installed the firmware, everything ok. I launched the game and there was some crackling sound and game was uploading but i needed to apply some settings to make it faster. So i added some configurations and now i open the game and the framerate is perfect but...NO AUDIO! If i go in the games settings and to audio, I cant move the volume levels, they're all at minimum (voice, fx, music) I'm tryng some methods, you know the real problem? Should i reinstall both rpcs3 and the game just to see? I don't really know and online there isn't much about it. Let me know as soon as you can would be dope (Btw audio shown in configuration is "Cubeb")
It's Because of the emulator, Especially RPCS3, the most complex thing about this emulator is running the instructions of SPU ( the ps3 CPU) on a PC CPU, this is normal for most emulators and you can do nothing about it other than buying a better CPU

You should investigate more about emulation and PS3 processor architecture (PowerPC) and then you'll know why.

Because emulation is more demanding than a native port. Especially for something as complex as the PS3's cell processor.

Not sure if this is accurate, but have seen in other videos that if the original cut scene runs at 30fps, your 60fps setting will cause issues.
