1. Crushed kropek (fish/shrimp crackers)
2. Crushed chicharon (deep fried pork cracklings)
3. Fried tofu cubes in anatto/shrimp oil
4. Adobo/Stewed squid/cuttlefish
5. Bagnet/Pork confit
6. Hard-boiled egg
7. Fried garlic flakes in oil
8. Calamansi
9. Shrimp/Pork based sauce

I was referring to the cooking method not the Ilocano bagnet; e.g. "ihaw", "laga", etc. Can you give a better Filipino translation for confit, to describe meats that has been slowly rendered and cooked in its own fat using low heat?
Clearly it's very different from chicharon; dried boiled pork skin deep-fried in oil using high heat.
Yeah, it could very well be "tampalen"; pork back fat, but I was aiming for conciseness and comprehensibility to a wider viewer/readership(hindi lang mga Pinoy nanonood ng TH-cam) thus "pork confit".
@@teholbeddict6198 fyi hindi po back fat yung tampalen..Leaf Lard po tawag dun sa may stomach ng baboy yun..gets ko na po gusto nyo palabasin parang pangalan lang "mapalabok" kaya po di nakikila yan kasi nasa pilipino na rin sa totoo lang para sakin mas masarap yan kesa sa pad thai pero bakit di sikat? Nasa atin ang sagot..we prefer western food at ngayon korean taiwanese..
