Dear Sir, please refer to YENIPPADIGALIL MAANTHARGAL book by Sivan Sar that covers few topics on age of our universe, where we are in now and coming back to this maha yuga, where we are in kali yuga. There is a reference to when bhagavan krishnar has born and that goes back to almost 3 lakh years ago. There is also logical calculation explanation and a reference picture in the end. Especially go over vishnu peyarchi topic in the book that will cover depth of these details. It also tells how modern scientists or mathematician makes mistake in determining kali yuga startting period. Time cannot be fixed based on one cycle alone. 60 years form one cycle. But a specific year can be from previous cycles too and cannot be limited to a 60 year period. Various planets follow different cycles. Similarly the solar system too follows a cycle. So any set of planetary combination will happen once in each such cycle and cannot be restricted to within 7000 or 8000 years. So we can take reference only from the Ithihasaa.

This is the first time in my life, I am coming across funny & mischievious acts of humans like Dushyant Sridhar misled by Jayashree madam foolishly attemting to write the fate (DOB) of Lord Shri Rama.
Dushyant shridhar ji should take back the Publication .
Dushyanth Sridhar is neither a vedic scholar nor a Upanyasakar. He ca only be addressed as a Pracharak who spreads the good word. He's not an authority on Ithihasa/ Puranas. He has not studied our epics in depth. His words and words of others who claim to be research scholars needs to be taken with Jar of salt. I agree totally with Sri MAV, Sri TRR and Sri RN. A reserch student's works need to be studied, analysed by more learned scholars whi are as n authority on that subject. The concept of time they were born is immaterial. We need to dwell upon their emulations, tenets and put them into practice. With Namaskaram and due respect to our traditional scholars....

This kind of conflict related to our own scriptures between gyanis of the same sampradayam is not favourable to sanatana dharma or Sri sampradayam. As such the current govt is against it. This will add fuel to fire.
Vishnu Purana says that there are 4 yugas Krita,Treta,Dwapara,Kalki yougas 432000.864000,1296000,1728000 years of duration the unverse then dissolved and begins all over again. and Ramayana happened in Dwapara youga and so was Krishna Avatar The Kalki will appear at the end of Kalki Youga

Regarding Adi Sankara Bagavad Padal also there is a controversy. GOVT. and some historians give 8th century as Adi Sankara's period whereas Kanchi periyava arrives at 500 BC as Adi Sankara's time period. According to him a kanchi matachariyar by name Abhinav Sankar belongs to 8th century.

I have a doubt , sir . Some 50 years back , in some houses especially vaishnavaites , there used to hang a framed version of Rama jathakam.As I have only a faint memory of this I can't remember having seen date or year of birth in it. Can somebody make a horoscope of a person without knowing actual date of birth.Or it is right to assume planetary positions can repeat after certain years, meaning 2 persons can have same ditto horoscope.I want to know whether there is saastra pramana for the authenticity of such a jathaka?
If such a jathaka can help assess the birth details. I would like to know.

Any research publication is possible and acceptable only if it is based on peer reviewed earlier published research as references. Any good peer reviewd journal accepts to publish only if the article carries a minimum of at least 30 to 50 peer reviewed earlier publications spread across many years. Publication of any research can't be based on just some software developed by some individual. Valmiki Ramayanam is the only main reference for Ramar. Certainly, it's not some software based. First of all, is that software used to study Ramar age, globally accepted one? Then, how can some outcome, based on an amateur software tool, be acceptable? Funny. They are fooling people.

The fossils of early humans who lived between 6 and 2 million years ago come entirely from Africa. Most scientists currently recognize some 15 to 20 different species of early humans.It is fair to assume that SriRam was born 1 million years ago. Research based on literature can only cover 5000 yrs.One might conclude the Itihasa has been written about 5000 yrs ago. The Birth date research is just a time pass

Trailanga Swamy having lived for 258 years as attested by Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa amongst other Gurus like Sri Ramana Maharishi ought to be also true. If Maharishi Valmiki was a mahaan himself then certainly Bhagwan having lived for 11000 yrs. shouldn't come as a doubt and so the calculations as per Puranas and Itihaasas must be correct.

Dear Sir, Please use yaenipadigalil maandhargal by Sivan Sar to understand the historical period and essentially how modern scientists make a mistake in calculation to identify starting period like kaliyuga. Especially the topic on vishu peyarchi covers all those details. There is a diagram in the end of the book to understand those concepts. Modern science is yet to scratch the surface of identifying the historical period.
