    As a testimony I have been on TH-cam and creating for 3 years and I have around 3.21k supporters. It is a journey but a beautiful one. In 2020 and last year I monetized a course and offered a free e-book while still being in college. With now have a tik Tok with 49k supporters is has made it easier to grow. Don’t give up on your journey and damn sure don’t compare yourself to others. Stay on your pace and path, don’t be afraid to use other platforms too

    I love the last point, be slow to sell and quick to give. People don’t want to feel like they are always being sold to. If your giving a lot of gems for free, they will automatically be comfortable and want to buy from you

    I just saw your video " How I shoot high quality videos." I immediately subscribed. I am a 73 year old RN that started my channel July of this year. I use my iphone and imovie. My focus has been my garden in my backyard, I also preserve foods. I am interested in doung so much more as a psychiatric nurse, and an artist, I should have lots of content, I believe I do. I find I just feel lost in the shuffle and not sure how to find good advice.
    I am so thankful I found your channel. Thank you and you're darling.

  • @glamwithtrika

    I think the most important thing is posting trending topics people want to see. My channel didn't grow until I posted about my surgery journey. Someone can be consistent all day long but if you aren't posting any interesting topics... your channel won't grow. This is what I learned and I gained a lot of subscribers
    STOP posting vlogs until you have a following.... I see a lot of new TH-camrs posting vlogs but if no one knows you.. they won't care to watch it.
    PICK a trending niche and stick with it. talk about something interesting!

  • @jasongates-
    @jasongates- 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    One strategy of what you were saying that I've been wishing I could do lately is similar to what you did. Turn it into a company. Like a content creation company, but not necessarily like Hollywood. More like a TH-cam version of Hollywood. Where I would be creating the content as a company, not just making content as myself. (Like Eurogamer, if anyone heard of that). Cause part of that would help for when like how you see people jump into someone's live stream chat and say "Get a job." Well, if you're someone like Typical Gamer, that is your job, but he's just doing that as himself, and he happened to luck out. If I could do it as a company, that would get rid of the "Get a job" part of it for sure, cause it really would be my job, not just luck, cause I would be doing it as a company, not as myself. The other part is, if it's just you, it's like "What content do I make today?" If you're a company, there's that added pressure of keeping the company viable, so it may be easier to come up with content, especially since it's from the company's perspective rather than it just being you and wondering what you're going to film as yourself. That idea. So, I've been wishing I could do it that way. You, Erin, know the business administration part of it, and I don't, so that's one big reason I don't actively look into doing it that way. There's a barrier for me right there. But, hopefully this helps someone else. I guess that would literally make TH-cam our business.

  • @BeadnWithNicoleB

    I use a calendar book to list what I do each day. I record the content on one day and upload on another day. I like writing out a basic script to keep up with what's in the videos. I'm not sure I will continue this method, but it's working right now.

    Thanks for these tips Erin. Even your first one was golden. Act like you're already making money. It's so easy to stress over the numbers that you forget what it's all about to begin with. Publishing. And also giving more than everyone else. I love The thank you economy from Gary Vaynerchuk and it all makes so much sense.
