Just an FYI, when creators say "all you need is your iPhone" like everyone has an iPhone, this can really throw beginners off and make them think that they can only vlog on an iPhone which isn't the case. I have an android and you can definitely vlog an android as well.
@@yanikeonpurpose When Iwas first starting I didn't know I could use my android to do basically the same thing an iphone can do because there were little to no videos that taught how to vlog with an android it was all about the iphone.
I started my YT channel last week. I’m shooting my videos with my phone as well. Still learning how to talk in front of the camera in the public because everyone’s looking. I’m shy 😊. Gotta keep learning and practicing 😊

PLSS THATS WHY I GET SO EMBARRASSED- I wanted to do a skiing vlog but my phone was looking at the floor and I wasnt talking cuz I didnt want for anyone to see my phone and idk its js embarrassing💀💀
My solution for not wanting to talk in public is planning an edited in voiceover in the parts where I'm out in public. Obviously I'll work my way out into talking while recording instead of just voiceovers, but that's how I'm easing myself into it
I used to be scared to start a TH-cam channel because I didn't have a camera or a good phone....but now am glad I did because I watch my channel grow tho slowly but its better than sitting around wishing.

I switched from my smartphone to the DJI osmo action, it's such a amazing camera for the price plus it has the stability which is really nice.
