That’s AWSOME! What an amazing view! Loved the part where you called the crew up but said “no bs there’s a tornado” gave the perception you play pranks on your crew lol.
I saw one go over the river in West Memphis when I was about 12. We were in a semi, fully loaded grain hauler, and waiting to unload grain at the port there. I thought the truck was going to go over, as it was rocking and rolling. Now, for the eerie part. As I was watching your last video, the thought ran through my mind: "I wonder how many tornadoes he's seen go over the river like that?" I open TH-cam today, and this is what you have posted! Very awesome video sir. Ya'll be careful out there.
Have seen a few from ground level. Was on a commercial flight years ago from New Orleans to Atlanta and got to see the top side of one. Took off from New Orleans in bad weather, landed in Atlanta between tornadoes. About 45 minutes later, left the airport in blue sky and sunshine.
We had a tornado that went up the channel of the Tennessee River and hit the Chickamauga Lock and Dam. Of course it didn't do damage to them but tore up construction trailers and did damage at some apartments on the river.
I had one pass right in front of ne on the Missouri Pacific River Sub between Waverly Mo. and Hodge in about 1983, it took them hours to cut the trees out of our train. We put the train in emergency as we came around a bend and there was 2-3 feet of moving water running over the tracks in front of us, things got intense for a bit.
WOW! I went through a small tornado on I 71, about 50 miles above Cincinnati in 2005. I was driving a tractor trailer, it was rocking from side to side, so I, and a few other trucks and cars pulled under an overpass and parked right on the interstate. This happened about 3:30 pm, and it was as dark as midnight for about 5 minutes, while this small tornado pelted us with the previous years worth of rotted corn stalks, from the corn fields on both sides of the highway. I had water coming in through the stereo speakers mounted on the overhead, and around the windshield seams. After it passed, bright sunlight and we all took off again.
This was about 110 miles downriver from St. Louis. Yes, boat I’m on now is headed up that way. We will be that area within a week depending on lock delays
I remember this day, I was begging my parents to go downstairs with me but they refused because it was to far away to hit us, I was really scared, it was a bad time.
I've seen 7 in one day. The biggest was at least a mile wide and formed over Thomas, Ok.. Had it formed a little further to the West, it would have removed the town!
That’s probably the year. My dad and I were going from Hobart to OKC and we had to stop at Cordell police station for shelter, and stopped again at the Cherokee. I’m thinking that was it. I was 15 at the time.
Breaking News.. Tugboat captain was EYE Whiteness to a Tornado crossing the Mississippi River.. at 5:00 you can see it trying to drop Two twisters Down, 🌪🌪 Crazy, Kyle declares as he runs the barges into the bank...!! 😱. 😎

When I was on the Robert M. Kopper going through Cincinnati Ohio, southbound just north of the I-275 Bridges we met an F3 at night time.

Biggest one I’ve seen was from Cherokee Trading post on I-40 east of Clinton 👍🏻👍🏻
'85 ? If so, that's one of the one's Ive seen. It killed 2 at a boy scout camp, in between Custer City and Weatherford.
That’s probably the year. My dad and I were going from Hobart to OKC and we had to stop at Cordell police station for shelter, and stopped again at the Cherokee. I’m thinking that was it. I was 15 at the time.
I’m a Hobart fella👍🏻
Yeah, I was on the Thomas fire dept. back then. Sitting on top a hill, SW. of town, I could see that tornado. EF-Big bastard!
