It must be a insurance companies worst nightmare, but i do fear for the homeowners beautiful home. This is very rare in our country, if we can call ours a tornado. Respect from New Zealand.

I always pray for those affected by tornadoes. It's so eerie hearing the sirens... Yet afterwards it IS a warzone. 😮😢 Amazing video from all angles.
I've seen some of the scariest, deadliest tornado videos in the last few months. I would say I'm glad I live Maryland. But, I think eventually we will see tornados. The last time I saw one was 1972. 😮 I was very young and was yelling for my family to go down to the basement. They all looked at me like I was nuts. Luckily, it only tore the roof off a building a cpl miles away. All I can do is pray for everyone, who's lived through them, and now need to rebuild.

Gives a whole new meaning to a multiple vortex tornado. I’ve watched a lot of tornado videos but I have never seen anything quite like that. Too bad about your evergreen. Thanks for posting.
I read the camera statement, don’t think they moved a millimeter! One of the best films I have seen of a tornado! No yelling (Reed Trimmer) and no cussing. Your video says it all!
These appear to be videos as still, silent, and soulless as security cameras….so basically just mute unwanted noises in the future instead of passively aggressively complaining about other people’s free content. Or upload your own. To the uploader thank you for sharing.
Some years ago I saw a test / demonstration of how different roofing materials stand up to very high winds. To my surprise, asphalt shingles did the best because they're flexible and therefore are less likely to be torn off. The more solid materials like what's on the roof of this house are more prone to destruction, because if one fails and is torn off, the wind can immediately get under all the others nearby and rip them away too.
Hate these things!! Sad to see the damage after so much effort to create such a beautiful property. That little weather vane didn’t stand a chance, nor the out buildings. Only good thing I see is your well built home held up well and hopefully kept you safe! Best wishes to you.
It's amazing that huge wall cloud was rotating so fast, and it was miles across. The energy in all the air and water moving at those speeds is terrifying.
The security cameras deserve an Emmy award. Top notch high quality stuff.

Absolutely unbelievable. Thank you for sharing!
I am fascinated and excited by tornadoes - and storms in general - but it is about them that's so interesting? Why am I so drawn to storms?
Their size, movement, complexity, and beauty are what captivates me.
And that, kids, is why we stay away from windows. Great footage! I’m in Oklahoma so we’ve seen a thing or two.
If a tornado doesn’t appear to be moving to the left or right, it’s heading straight for you.
Thankfully, it appears it veered slightly and spared them the worst of the winds. Still amazing winds where they were. Imagine what it was like just a short distance away. A few yards can make the difference between repairable damage and catastrophic damage.
Incredible compilation. Thank you!
Wow what amazing footage. Imagine if that was at night and you could not see it coming. I hope you are doing ok. What a terrible thing to go through. I hope you can restore your beautiful home quickly. Thanks for sharing.
It must be a insurance companies worst nightmare, but i do fear for the homeowners beautiful home. This is very rare in our country, if we can call ours a tornado. Respect from New Zealand.
Hell of a homestead there in that last clip!
Amazing!! Watching a storm produce a tornado from the beginning is mind blowing!
Our home was destroyed two days before this in Mississippi. Horrible and bad thing is insurance won’t pay to fix that beautiful yard. I was devastated when I found out my property was under insured.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope everything works out for you. Hang in there.
10:46 the RFD kicks in.
Possibly some of the most incredible tornado footage I’ve ever seen. I’m so sorry to see such a beautiful home get destroyed. 😔 hope you all are ok.
It looks like the house is pretty intact, in all honesty Not "Destroyed" .. roof damage, tree damage.. but looked generally intact.
Oh no... all those beautiful trees!!!
Nice home. Just think, you only got the inflow winds! Lucky it missed by a few hundred yards.
So sorry for your loss of property. I really thought it was headed away from your house and then it was like it came back. Great video. Ty for not yelling thru out the whole thing. You stayed very calm.
4:50 there’s the deadman walking in the 🌪️. What a dark and scary day in Elkhorn 😰
Pines in the background at 10:00 were putting up a hell of a fight, wonder if they survived ?
The way tornados just knock over trees like it’s nothing, just when passing by, is astounding
Thank you for sharing all the footage, glad ur safe, sad watching the destruction though
Dang. That BBQ must of been made out of granite because it wasn't going anywhere.
That looked like a pretty big and strong one. Glad you are all right and that your home mostly made it through!
What a beautiful place to live in! Hope you'll be able to repair the damage! This Elkhorn one was true insanity
This was so interesting yet completely terrifying to watch! At 12:44, seeing that roof get ripped off and go flying outta eyesight. Makes me thankful I live in Oregon.
That was too close for comfort amazing and thanks for the share. You were very lucky good luck
I’m sorry to see your beautiful home take damage! You got incredible video of it. Luckily you guys didn’t take a direct hit. Isn’t it wild how selective tornado damage can be? You guys didn’t even lose power in the video. Hope everyone was okay! ❤
You, sir, have a gorgeous home and property. I hope you all remained safe and that the damage is simple to repair! I do feel for your shed 12:29 😢
Wow! Incredible footage. 👍
Beautiful home!!!
Was
@@gifthorse3675 hey, if you rebuild it, they will come 😩✌️👍
Gives a whole new meaning to a multiple vortex tornado.
Imagine complaining about Dr. Reed Timmer. A man who's done more to educate people about tornadoes that anyone on earth. Imagine that.
@@gunrunnergaminghe’s not complaining. Just saying he screams a lot. Come on! I love him but he’s a screamer!
Yeah Reed is tooooo extreme
Thank you thank you thank you for using landscape orientation! That’s from all of us!❤
Seeing those multiple vorticies coming right at you must have been terrifying. Amazing video.
Amazing, yet terrifying. I'm so sorry about your property, but thank you for sharing this incredible footage with us.
Hopefully you’re OK and It didn’t have too much damage you have a beautiful home!
Tornado was violent but you guys were calm.Hope you can recover quickly.
The best part of the video, for me, was the fact that the first gentleman taping doesn't talk very much, isn't yelling, & holds the picture steady
This is amazing footage wow.
Great video! So glad you were paying attention. Lifting you and your family in prayer for good recovery from the damage.
Yikes, you can see that whole cloud rotating! 😳
Beautiful home and property btw. Lovely view from the hill. Sturdy foundation. And I love the gardening. Hope everyone is OK.
Absolutely incredible. Glad you are safe. Thank you for sharing this.
That's a NICE house and property though.
That’s a gorgeous house
That little windmill put up a good fight! A lot of damage, to be sure, but I think you can be proud of the high quality construction, overall.
Amazing footage, glad y’all are ok.
That BBQ cover almost held up. Amazing!!!
