I recently started working on Legacy issue 10 and decided it would be a good idea to create a massive Omnibus video for new subscribers. Our last Legacy video came out a little over a year ago and frankly... people don't go looking for those older videos.

Star Wars: Legacy will and forever shall be my definitive head-canon sequel to the original Star Wars. None of the total donkey shit crapped out by the mouse.
i always considered zahn's thrawn trilogy that he wrote in the 90s as the offical sequel trilogy where we get to see what happens after ROTJ, the legacy era is set like 150 years after ROTJ, crazy time jump and i love it but i wouldnt consider that a direct sequel to the Original trilogy.
Star war legacy is one of the best star war related things I ever read.
I really like cade as a protagonist and believe it or not at first I didn't like him but over time he really grew on me to the point he's my favorite Skywalker next to luke.
I also really love the villian in darth kraty who's one of my favorite sith. I just love the idea of this sith who's been in multiple of the era from the clone wars to even meeting luke Skywalker. One of my favorite things during the whole absouth incident is that he saids the jedi only delayed his plans and all he had to do was wait which he did. Like it was a genius move on his part to just wait until luke dies then go with his plans. His dynamics with Cade is also really cool
I love it. He’s a completely different kind of Sith than we see throughout the saga of Star Wars. He’s desperate and sick, he knows he only has so much time and his conquest of the Empire was shaky at best and a lot of Jedi survived his purge.
I love that there are 3 different factions fighting for power. The Fel Empire, Sith Empire and the Galactic alliance remnant.
@@BarbsBasement, I have to say, while Legacy isn't my favorite Star Wars era (that's always gonna be The Clone Wars, you can't change my mind about that), Legacy certainly has a very good story to its name (which cannot be said about the Sequel Trilogy). In fact, I think I'm going to use some elements of this for my own alternate version of the Sequels.

1:21 It is highly believed that the ONE sith group is an offshoot of the Lost Tribe from the final book series of the Expanded Universe called "The Fate of the Jedi." because there were beginnings to certain aspects of how the Star Wars Universe was configured at the start of Star Wars Legacy, including Emperor Fel as a Force sensitive. Historically the Fels were not Force sensitive until they intermingled at some point with another bloodline. At the end of "Fate of the Jedi" Jaina Solo the sword of the Jedi is married to Jagged Fel.
It is also mentioned on numerous occasions in the same series by Jagged Fel that he is encouraging Jaina to leave the Jedi on Coruscant (Not necessarily the order), and start her own school in the Empire's remaining territories. This illudes to the concept of the Imperial Knights which are the protectors and vassals of the true Emperor Fel.
I just wish they had kept it going long enough to see how Jaina and Jagedd would end up ruling the empire again. At the end of fate of the Jedi I'm pretty sure they were formaly married, but Jagedd had resigned as leader of the empire, and he was actually trying to make it a more democratic government,

@@BarbsBasement Yeah that was kinda what made me relate to Cade. On one hand, I've struggled with what I call "the Weight of Legacy" for more than a decade - the crushing weight of expectations that can never be fulfilled, blood spilt in family history and promises unfulfilled over more than three generations. Struggled with the fact that those to whom I look up, or who came before me, much rather, were no heroes at all, much rather their own brand of weakness, craziness and destruction all wrapped in one Skywalker. Struggled with those who would see me as some sort of messiah, where I see a man who cannot even help himself and ultimately, on the other hand, really did struggle with a crippling death stick addiction. Cade was there for me when I was my own worst enemy, much like him, and he taught me to move out of my own head and conquer that which cannot be conquered - my own fallibility.
The next trilogy should be based on this comic run!
I truly enjoyed this Star Wars: Legacy video! Can't wait for the second part of this full story series in the future. I wish Lucas Film could create at least an animated series based on this series.
I've read the Epic Collections and it made me wish this was the Trilogy we got.
I remember growing up on these badass comics.

Seriously, I wish that the expanded universe would have continued even after the legends' novel crucible and in between legacy. As we continue the expansion of the timeline of the true star wars Canon

A live action Star Wars movie trilogy I love to see if only Disney get there head out of there asses
13:22 It's not "common belief" they did get married. The last book of Fate of the Jedi shows that. As far as that goes the bloodline didn't have force sensitives and then a Skywalker marries into the family and then they all of a sudden do. The implication is that they had kids.
It is never outright said so a lot of fans still debate if that is what actually happened despite it being painfully obvious that is the case.
I would pay to get someone to dub all these lol
Legacy era had its issues, and I mean it had a lot of them, but I would’ve that instead of the atrocity known as The Sequel Trilogy.
The "Disney-SW Nonsense-Bullshit Non-Canon Sequel-Trilogy" is an abomination, and should be considered a Disney-SW Legends fever dream of apocalyptic proportions.
Somehow Palpatine survived, and somehow I didn't get PTSD while suffering through diarrhea-tsunamies, because the stupid was & still is very strong, especialy when Rey said she's a Skywalker, even though she's now Palpatine.
Crazy Joker Laugh doesn't even begin to cover the madness of the flawless victory this epic trainwreck represents. 😅

Every post Return of the Jedi eras works from the EU are easily more Sequels than episodes 7 to 9
Part of the reason Delilah is the way she is, is because she's a Zeltron.
2:57 So the way that Cade used the force here was more of a dark side power because the will of the Force was to allow Wolfe to pass on into the Force. Cade with his ability to see the convergence points in a living being forced life into them from the living force, denying death to come. What they did in RoS was trash by comparison and explanation.
It's still contrived, but at least the characters seem more interesting than the ones in the Disney sequels.

the only problem i have with these is they're supposed to take place after abeloth but they make it seem more like the yuuzhan vong were more impactful than anything that happened after so much so that 40+ years after yavin they're still on about it.
I realize this was written before everything after yuuzhan vong but i feel like everything after actively hurts this comic.
It's definitely not the comics fault its how much of a mess the star wars story was *after* this comic finished. They should've just ended the star wars universe with this
The Vong killed trillions of beings. Imo, they were more impactful to the Galaxy at large than Abeloth.
