Vader's mindset and true feelings are very interesting. It always reminds me of young love and how love can turn to hatred. I never understood how Vader could never see that the emperor had used him and destroyed him. Vader was no fool yet continued to serve the emperor. Sadly, that was all had left.....
He did say in so many ways that the end justifies the means. For him, complete peace under one person was the goal. For him, the Jedi were evil & corrupt and standing in the way of complete peace.
@matthewturley352 Not in terms of power. The Jedi had more numbers but the 2 Sith were vessels for the power of the darkside. So while the Jedi had greater numbers, the power of the light side of the force was dispersed. Conversely, the dark side was concentrated in the two Sith.
Anakin did bring balance. He brought the galaxy to two Jedi, Yoda and Obi-Wan, and two sith, himself, and the emperor. He is also the father, who one day will manage Luke and Leia as celestial’s

Very few have achieved balance, you'd think thousands of years of a higher understanding of the force, revan is the only one besides vader and luke I know of
