Thank you to our sponsor for the day's live: UpSeat
When Steve and Kim Pankratz began their search for a baby seat for their son Jack, who was born with cerebral palsy, they quickly realized that finding a product that would support his posture was going to be a challenge. Consulting with physical therapists, they created the Upseat, incorporating a forward tilted wedge to encourage good posture and healthy hip positioning. The innovative design gained national recognition after featuring on Canada's Dragon's Den. Now available across North America, the Upseat provides a safe and healthy seating solution for children. Beyond its success, the Upseat Company gives back by donating 1% of its revenue to support families through trusted partner organizations.

I have greatly appreciated the Summit so far! Establishing timing for different markers, reaffirming those natural responses, such as rocking a baby, responding when they cry, and giving eye contact and the effects on development especially in their early days has been amazing information.

I commented on the live but didn’t see my comment when I came back. I want to make sure I’m able to enter for the giveaway of the Upseat! I’m in the KC area with twin girls who are 4 months old and I also have a 2.5 year old son. All of my babies have/had torticollis, oral ties, and plagiocephaly so a lot of these segments are incredibly helpful! My biggest takeaway was from Dr. Jena’s segment-that torticollis is something that follows the baby through every milestone so care throughout the first year is important.

I watched Brooke's presentation on avoiding the helmet. I like how she aknowledges there is a time and place for containers, but to limit the amount. Also some tips of how we can be strategic to help prevent or correct an issue. It was a great listen! Excited to learn more.
