Love this. I love that in the end, what it boils down to is “basics”. Pretend play has been around as long as children😂 and I believe is still the kind of toys that continue to intrigue, entertain, and stimulate play both by themselves and with other children. When my children were children (now grown men!) the transforming cars didn’t exist but they loved transforming cornstarch/water from a solid matter to completely melted when squished through their fingers. It was like magic. I love observing kids at play!
