- Although Hans Zimmer's Man of Steel track is full of epicness and fits the movie well, how amazingly John Williams's old school Superman theme adds levity to the movie. It is a pity the movie falls short in term of quality and Superman portrayal.
*Keep the kid inside you alive because growing up sucks :P*

Good gosh, the original theme blends so well with even the modern Man of Steel..John Williams is a living walking legend to be able to compose timeless classics like this. Awesome is an understatement. ❤️❤️❤️

Christopher was a genuine, naturally handsome guy. There was no pomp or arrogance about him, meaning he was also a genuinely nice guy. Then you add that to how well he portrayed Superman... amazing.
This theme fully achieves what Superman is all about: making all of us believe.
Christopher Reeve was and still is the best Man of Steel ever! Greatest score of all time! RIP!

Much more fitting for this film than Superman Returns. Loved this movie and cast. They were mostly perfect for the role.
The best superman tribute of zll time
As much as I loved Cavill's portrayal of Superman ... something was missing from "The Man of Steel" that the older movie had in surplus. I never hammered my fist against my Chair's handrest in joy and pleasure watching Man of Steel... it didn't make me Joyful, truly hopeful. It talked about hope but it didn't portray hopefulness. It was all so morbid and violent, incredibly, depressing. Man of Steel never caught the real feeling I've always had towards Superman. He really a symbol of hope and optimism that this era and generation no longer allows. Just watch 'the saves' in the middle of the movie. Superman isn't a god, he is a friend.

The Hanz Zimmer Superman theme is still epic gold, suits Henry Cavill & the modern day Man of Steel aka Superman 😍😍🌠🌠💐💐

I can tell you put a lot of work into this and it really pays off. The music syncs up so well with the action it's hard to believe this wasn't the original score. Very well done! And, yes, it completely changes the tone of the movie, in a good way.

3:29. I sometimes wonder if CG is used to alter HC's face at this point, because in this shot he looks WAY more like Chris Reeve than Brandon Routh ever did, but only in this shot. Bloody weird.

Of course it was CG. How else would they get Henry's face to morph into Christopher's without it?

Some (maybe a lot) of the criticism against Henry Cavill was unfair. They suited him in leather, they dimmed his yellow and red crest, they air brushed his muscles to a near plastic look, they blue-lensed the movie, they took away his naivety and humility, they added a weak script, and they made him invulnerable to his earthly environment.
That's a radical departure from all the things we loved about Christopher Reeve in SUPERMAN (1978).
Good work on the video and the editing. I think john williams would be proud.
